third and fourth period went by fast. it was now lunch and i sat with mateo.
"so. you haven't added me back on snapchat" i said
"i don't have my phone with me" he said
"why. who doesn't bring their phone with them on their first day at a new school?" i asked
"i mean what if you got lost and no one was there?"
"fine. you got me" he said pulling his phone out
"oh. i actually thought you didn't bring HA!" i said
"fine i'll only add you back if we get to know you" he said
"okay. what do you wanna know" i asked
"little things" he smiled
"uh. my full name is sabrina rose moormeier i have a-"
"moormeier? like payton moormeier?" he asked
"yeah. he's my brother why"
"he's your brother!! damn. my sister is obsessed with him" he said
"wow and his sister, me, is obsessed with you" i smiled
"how iconic" he said
"the iconic four" i said
we laughed.
"anyways. how's life. not on social media" i asked
"well. boring. but we moved so i've got something do to now. unpack. you see when i go to my room it's so messy with all these boxes but at the same time it's so empty so i need to unpack and decorate. but unpacking is so draining" he said
"i get you. however i find unpacking very therapeutic. i think it's fun" i said
"well maybe you could come and help me unpack? if that's okay with you?"
"i'm sorry um. the mateo gallegos just asked me to go to his house but then asked if it was okay with me. of course it's okay!" i said with a hint of sarcasm.
he laughed

"sorry. you weren't clear enough. so can you come over or not?" he said
i laughed.
soon later lunch finished
"one hour and thirty minutes left to go" i sarcastically smiled
i heard a small laugh come from mateos mouth
i turned my head and give him a death stare. he threw his hands up in defence.
after a long one hour and thirty minutes. it was finally the end of school. i waited outside mateos class and soon he came.
"so your first day of school how was it" i asked
"it was good. but i met this girl. called sophia. she ruined it for me" he said
"oh shush. your going to love me"
"who said i was going to spend more time"
"me. duh" i said he laughed
"that laugh is adorable" i said
"so is that face" he said

i blushed
"and it just got even more adorable"

he laughed
"you know your my first girl friend" i looked at him
"i didn't mean it like that" he said
"i know i know. but i wouldn't mind if you meant it like that. anyways your one of my first boy friends" i said
"who else?" he asked
"well jackson felt and my ex. brandon. we were best friends first before we dated and then he cheated. idk if you know her but with emily. she's really popular" i said
"oh i'm sorry. but don't you talk to emily everyday?" he asked
"yeah. she's my cousin. she thinks me and brandon broke up because it just wasn't working. she doesn't know i know. he didn't want me to tell her"
"right" he said
"okay well this is my street so i'll see you tomorrow" i said
"oh really this my street too" he said
"wait when did you move here?" i asked
"like 5 days ago"
"so you've lived here on my street for 5 days and i didn't know. wow"
he laughed
"okay will this is my stop. i'll see you tomorrow" i said
we said our goodbyes and i went into my house
