jackson and jade came over. we were just talking
"guys. this is our last year in high school. we're going to be going off to collage and all that" i said
"i know. that's insane" jade said
"well is three" i said looking at mateo and jade
"yeah ahah" payton said
"sooo proms coming up" jade said
"oh yeah guys. i got asked. to your prom!" jackson said
"by who!"
"that girl annie"
"oh. wow"
"well if jade and payton go together we'll all be going together" mateo said
"they're going together" i said
"they're together"
"what. how'd you know" jade said shocked
"i'm not blind. plus i can hear you guys making out in payton's room" i said grossed out
"why didn't you tell me" i asked jade
"payton wouldn't let me" she laughed.
"so mateo when are you going to ask sophia to prom?" jackson said
"what?" we said at the same time
"yeh. who said we're going together. plus i could ask him. he might already have a date i might already have a date. he might have already asked me" i said
"you never know" mateo said smiling
he's adorable.

a few hours later
we decided to have a sleepover. we went to the basement and got everything met up. out basement was huge. we used to have sleepovers in there all the time. we watched a few movies before falling asleep. i woke up next to mateo. like most mornings i stared at his face. this time he didn't complain and just opened one eye and smiled. butterfliessssss i got up and made everyone breakfast. while i was making it i kept thinking back to the party. when mateo kissed my neck. ever since that i've been seeing him different. i think i have feelings for him. i have feelings for my best friend. i soon got snapped out of my thoughts when mateo came in
"hey. want help?" he asked
"no i'm good thanks. almost done" i said
"okay"
"actually could you just get some knifes and forks please" i asked
"sure"
i was dying to ask him if he remembered the party and what he did. but just not right now.    i called everyone to eat and we ate and talked.

skip 4 hours later
payton jade and jackson went to get food. me and mateo are in my room and i think i'm going to ask him if he remembers
"mateo" i said breaking the silence
"yeh" he mumbled
"the party we went to a few days ago. do you remember anything from there" i asked
"i remember playing spin the bottle and then i was talking to payton and then i was here" he sand
i nodded
"why. did i do anything to you? did make you do something you didn't want to?" he said
"no no." i said
"then what happened"
"you started hitting on me" i said
he nodded
"and you left a few hickies. but i covered them."
he just stared
"i'm sorry" he said
"it's fine"
"no it's not. are the hickies still there" be asked
"no. they were only light" i said
he came over and hugged me
"i am really sorry" he said
i smiled
"seriously. it's fine. you were drunk. you didn't know what you were doing."
"but i did know" he said
"what..?"
"part of me remembered. i just didn't think you'd wanna talk about it. at the time. i did know i was doing it"
"why didn't you stop.."
"because i like you" he said pulling out of the hug
"mateo.."
"i'm sorry" he said
"i like you.." i said looking at him
he just smiled at laid his head on me
