me and mateo are best friends. i've grown on social media because of him. but i was already a little bit known because of payton. me and mateo act like a couple but we aren't but everyday people question if we are or not. i still joke around about him having my children and stuff. but it's jokes. i see him as a best friend

i was sleeping when i felt someone jump on me.
"jade get lost" i said
the person still stayed there. i opened one eye and saw mateo
"MATEO!" i shouted hugging him
"i thought you weren't coming until next week"
"yeah it got cancelled. feel bad for all the fans tho tbh"
mateo went to la for this social media thing. payton also went but he came back early since he wasn't feeling great. mateo had been gone for two weeks.
"hi" he said
"shut up and hug me back" i said
he laughed and hugged me back
that laugh is still adorable.
he let go and i got up and went to brush my teeth.
"mateo. pick an out fit for me please" i said as i did my skin care.
i walked out to see an outfit laid on the bed. it was a black cropped long sleeved t shirt and camo joggers.
"thanks" i said
"so what are we doing today" mateo practically shouted so i could hear him since i was in the bathroom getting ready
"i'm not sure" i shouted back
i walked out
"ooh my best friend looks goooddddd" mateo said
i laughed
"thank you thank you" i said
"okay why don't we have a chill day. watch tvd and chill?" i suggested
"fine by me" he said
"yes!" i said walking downstairs with mateo following me. i got some snacks and blankets and we started the movie.
"omg you guys are finally dating!" payton said walking downstairs
"omg who!?" jackson said following him
"omg no🤦🏼‍♀️" i said
"damn it" mateo and payton said at the same time
i gave mateo a "shut up" kinda look.
he laughed.
we watched a few movies before i fell asleep.

a few days later
i was on my phone talking to jade who was going to be moving back the next day when payton came down
"hey" i said
"hi" he said
"hey jade"
"yo" jade said
"you guys are cute" i said
"we literally said hi too each other" payton said
"yeah. plus you and mateo are cuter" jade said
i smiled
"also there's a party in a few days. you guys wanna go?" payton asked
"it's on wednesday"
jades flight was on saturday but she gets here early sunday and it's friday today.
"yeah" i said jade nodding.
"great" he said
we talked for a while before i got some homework done. it soon got boring and i called mateo and told him to come over. he arrived in like 10 minutes since he was in the middle of showering.
"hi" he said jumping on me
"why are you actually kinda light?" i asked
"i dunno" he mumbled
"there's a party wednesday and we're going" i said
"sophia moormeier going to a party. wow"
"ha ha. very funny. but seriously tho. we're going"
"really. you sure we can't just ditch and watch movies?" he asked
"as much as i'd rather do that. i want to start going out more. because prom is this year and i don't wanna be unmotivated to go or anything"
"ugh fine"
"yay" i said tightly wrapping my arms around his neck.
after staying like that for a while we decided to live on my account.
my phone was balanced on my desk. i sat on the bed facing my phone and mateo sat behind my straddling me. he put his chin on my shoulder.
"hi everyone" i said
"mateos always at your house" i read out
"i know" i said ruffling his hair.
i'm pretty sure mateo had zoned out most the time. but other than that he stayed on his phone. once i had ended the live we stayed in the same position but just went on our phones.
"are you okay" i asked turning around to face him
"mhm" he said
"i know your not" i said
"please talk to me"
"just stuff going on at home" he said
"you can stay with me. for however long. my mum loves you" i said
"not just that. my mental health has just been all over the place recently and i just don't feel good about myself" he said
"mateo" i said hugging him
"i just need someone there for me"
"i'm here for you" i said pulling away
"i know i know" he weakly smiled
i laid down and he put his head on my chest. i put on a movie
"we don't have to go to that party if you don't wanna" i said
"no. i wanna go" he said
"please. if your dealing with anything more. tell me. please mateo"
"i will" he said
i kissed his head and we carried on watching the movie.
