The autumn passed quickly and the winter was approaching. The wind was getting colder and the water started to freeze.
,,Sooooo, William. What's going on with you and Ria?" Carrie asked grinning. Her and Will were currently walking around the castle, walking in a comfortable silence, that she just broke. She knew that after the party, Will and Ria met up sometimes and he seemed to be really happy with the Abbot-girl. Carrie thought they'd be great together. Ria was a little shy and worked hard, while Will was normally more open and athletic.
Looking up, to make eye contact with Carrie, he noticed the knowing look on her face. What am I supposed to say to that?, he thought. It was true that him and Ria got along really well. She was so reluctant and calm, as well as passionate and interesting. And of course she was amazingly beautiful. Ria, in Wills eyes, was perfect in any possible way.
,,I like her, I really do. She seems perfect." Will answered truthfully, smiling. He knew that Carrie would support him, no matter what.
Carries smile seemed to grow more and more. She squeaked excitedly, as she wrapped her arms around Wills neck, pulling him into a tight hug. ,,Awww Will. Someone seems to be in love."
,,Well, I don't know, if I would already go that far." he said scratching his neck sheepish.
,,Oh Will, I can see it on your face. I see the way you look at her and how happy you are around her. I'm really happy for you." Carrie said honestly, putting her hand on his shoulder.
,,Thank you, Carrie. It means a lot." Kissing her cheek, his smile got even brighter and his eyes seemed to shine.
,,Always." she responded, taking his hand to keep going.
,,What about you and Sirius?" Will asked after some minutes of walking.
,,What do you mean?" Carrie asked nervously. Since the incident with Regulus and her and the fact that Sirius let his guard down and was open about his feeling, him and Carrie spent quite some time together. They were talking in class, going for walks to the lake(it seemed to get their place to meet up there), Carrie was still giving him tutoring, and some random flirting, as well as bickering was present as well. She is getting to know more about him every time they see each other and that was mutual. Not being entirely sure how she hated him for that long, she started to like him and his presence. But to be honest she wasn't sure what her and Sirius were. Were they friends? Study-Buddies? Or something entirely different?
Looking at his friend, Will noticed her weird behavior. He sure that something was going on between the two. However he didn't know what it was exactly. Seeing how they got along, gave him an idea, but he wanted to know more. ,,C'mon Carrie. Something is going on between the two of you."
