Once upon a time

chapter 1

Louis' pov

"Li please no you can't go!" I beg while holding Liam's arm. Liam looks at me with sad eyes "I'm sorry Lou but I really have to do this, you know that we can't afford to lose this job honey."

I frown and nod "I know Li I'm sorry." Liam shakes his head and pulls me into a close hug "Don't be sorry darling none of this is your fault."

"But if I wasn't here you wouldn't have to stress so much." I hear Liam take a deep breath in "Darling what did your doctor say about these thoughts?"

I think for a second "That it's a normal reaction due to what happened but that I should remind myself that I matter and that I deserve to be here?" I ask feeling unsure about it.

Liam rubs my back a bit and pull away from the hug "that's it darling and remember when you ever feel down just call your doctor or try to talk to Harry, Edward or Marcel ok?"

"What who? I thought that I was staying with Zayn?" Liam shakes his head "No Lou, I don't trust Zayn and I told you that if I couldn't find someone to take you in that you could stay with Zayn."

"B-but I don't even know those people! You know how I feel around new people." Liam gives me a sad smile "I know but they are very nice I promise and I just want you to be safe and I know you would be with them. Please Lou just do this for me!"

I nod slowly knowing I won't be able to say no to Liam after all he does for me. "I will do it for you Lili."

"Thank you Lou! Please just go get your bags, I will have to go soon and the guys should be here soon too!"

I make my way upstairs and get the few bags that I've packed from my small and plain room and go back down stairs to see Liam impatiently waiting by the door with his suitcases already nect to him.

"I'm sorry Lou I really need to go!" Liam pulls me into a tight hug and presses a kiss to my forehead "Be good please Lou?" I nod with teary eyes "I will Lili! I love you and I will miss you." Liam gives me another kiss on my forehead before pulling away from the hug "I will call you as soon as I get there! Love you so much Lou! I have to go now..." I nod and wave at him while he makes his way to his old car.

Liam looks back one more time and gives me a small wave before getting into the car and driving off.

Once I close the door the tears start falling from my eyes and my hands start shaking and I can feel myself starting to panic.

"C-calm down Lou, You're ok" I whisper to myself and focus on my breathing.

It took me a few minutes but I eventually calm down.

I let out a shaky breath before getting off the floor. I'm about to make my way to the living room when the doorbell rings.

"Do this for Liam, He needs this." I whisper to myself hoping to shake off the anxious feeling but it sadly didn't so with shaky hands I open the door to reveal three identical males, the only thing that makes a real difference is that one has blond hair and another one had glasses.

"Are you done staring?" The one with the glasses barks at me making me flinch back "I-I... Sorry?" I look down at my feet hoping that the ground would swallow me at this point.

"Come on hurry up kid! I don't have all fucking day! It's already bad enough that I'm here!" The one with the blond hair yells at me making me whine in fear.

I quickly run off to grab my bags before making my way back to the door to see all three of them looking bored and annoyed.

"Fucking finally" The one with the brown hair and no glasses say before turning away and just walking off to a beautiful black range rover with his brothers on his heels.

I have to jog to keep up with them, the blond one gets behind the wheel while the one with glasses gets into the passengers seat making the only one left groan "Why do I have to sit with him?" I keep back a whimper and just look down at my hands.

"Come on hurry up and get into the car!" I nod and quickly open the door and climb in the car holding back tears.

The first bit of the car ride was very awkward and quiet until I broke the silence.

"C-can I ask something?" I stutter out looking at my shaky hands. I hear a faint groan "if you must" The person next to me says.

"Can I uhm k-know your names p-please?" It stays silent for a bit and I was about to repeat it when the blond one starts speaking "My name is Edward, the one with the glasses is Marcel and the last one is Harry now we have some rules in our house that you must follow."

Edward looks at me through the rearview mirror with harsh eyes before continuing.

"You will not eat with us, our time together is very important to us so you will not interrupt that. You will listen to us without questioning us. Stay in your room as much as possible, we took you in for Liam's sake not because we want to. Do you get that?"

I nod slowly "Y-yes Edward" I mumble out making him hum and turn up the music to probably stop me from talking some more so I decided to just stare out of the window and thinking about how I'm gonna be able to do this.

I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't notice that the car has stopped until I heard someone clear their throat making me look up at look right into Harry's angry eyes which makes me frown and look down again.
