Once upon a time

chapter 14

"An inmate from Modest prison is trying to reach you, Press 1 to receive the call."

I hesitantly press 1 "Hello?"

"Louis... Hi it's Liam."

Louis' pov 

"L-Liam?" I breath out not believing that he's actually calling me. 

"Yeah it's me, hear me out I need you to ask the guys to pay my bail. Edward wouldn't answer." 

My heart hurts so much at that "Y-You only called me for that?" 

"Yeah why?" I can feel my hands shaking while my eyes tear up. 

"Liam? D-do you not love me anymore." I ask softly. 

I hear Liam huff "Look Louis this isn't about you! So stop making everything about you." 

"But I-I will do better! I will be good Li! Please love me again!" I beg while tears stream down my face. 

"You know fuck this just don't forget to get the guys to bail me out." With that he ends the call. 

I fall to my knees while loudly sobbing into my hands, it doesn't take long before I'm being pulled into a hug. 

"Louis darling what happened? Talk to me baby." The soft voice that belongs to Marcel asks but all I can do is shake my head and whisper "P-Please take me home." 

I feel Marcel lift me off the ground and walk me to the car. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't even realize that we where already at the house until Marcel tapped my on my shoulder to get my attention. 

I climbed out of the car without saying anything and made my way right to my room and sat down on the couch in front of the window with a blanket around my shoulders and let myself drown in my sad thoughts. 

I know that I have these three boys but I know that they will give up on me soon too, like everyone even the one person I thought would always be there for me left.  

I don't get it, I'm a good person right? Then why does everyone always leave? 

When did I stop being a person and became a problem? 

A problem no one wants to put up with. 

I stare out of the window with a tear rolling down my face. 

Harry's pov 

My heart broke when I saw Louis break down like that, I don't know what's going on with Liam but someone need to smack some sense into him because he's hurting my precious boy. 

I get off the couch with a huff which catches Marcel's and Edward's attention as they look at me with raised eyebrows. "I'm gonna check up on Lou" Edward frowns "But Hazz he looked like he wanted to be alone." 

I shake my head "No one wants to be truly alone but I will leave if he really wants, I just feel like he needs someone to love him and hold him." Marcel and Edward both give me a soft nod which tells me that they are ok with me going to see Louis. 

Walking up the stairs I started feeling slightly anxious, I want to be there for him so bad but what if he doesn't want me there? 

I softly knock on his door and wait for his response before making my way into his room and closing the door after myself. 

"Hi love how are you?" I ask gently while sitting down in front of Louis who doesn't look at me but just focusses on looking out the window. 

Louis shrugs slightly "Do you want to talk about it?" Louis then turns to look at me and the look on his face breaks my heart "Why?" He whispers out with quivering lips. 

I frown "what do you mean love?" Tears gather in Louis' already red puffy eyes "Why does no one want me?" 

My eyes widen at Louis question and I quickly grab his hand "No no love what makes you think that?" 

"W-well my parents left, Zayn left, Liam left and I know you will realize that I'm not worth anything but pain and rude words just like he did..." 

I stare at Louis for a few seconds debating if I should ask him he means by 'just like he did' but I decides against it. 

"No Louis we will never do that, you are worth to be loved, cherished and cared for even if you don't believe that now." 

Louis looks at me with wide eyes "I-I do?" 

I nod and give him a gentle smile "Yes darling you deserve that once upon a time love and we are willing to give you that if you would allow us?" 

Louis gives me a weak smile "I'm scared, I'm so scared that you will leave me... I don't think I will be able to take it." 

I scoot closer to Louis and cup his cheek with my hand "I understand love but please give us a chance to show us how happy we can make you?" 

Louis nods slowly "I-I mean you're all I have at this point." 

I give him a sad smile "Do you want to talk about what happened on the phone with Liam?" 

Louis looks sadder right away which makes me pull him onto my lap to hold him tight to my chest as he explains. 

"Liam just wanted me to ask you guys to bail me out... that was all he didn't even say sorry or that he misses me or why he has been ignoring me..." Louis lays his head on my chest while sniffling. 

"I will fucking kill him!" The sudden voice makes both me and Louis jump. I look up to see a fuming Edward and a worried looking Marcel. 

Louis whines "D-don't just cuddle please?" Edward's angry face drops into a soft look and he nods making his way to the bed and pulling Marcel along. 

I get up while still holding Louis and lay him down in-between Marcel and Edward. "I just have to do something for a second be right back darling." I press a kiss to Louis forehead before giving both Marcel and Edward a kiss and a knowing look.... 

Time to go talk to dear old Payne.
