Once upon a time

chapter 8

"We will do! Mom made us write an apology letter and I was thinking to buy him a cute bear and some chocolates, well that was harry's idea." I add after Harry gives me a look.

"Make the chocolates gummy worms and I will let you in the house again."

"Deal."

Louis' pov 

Marcel walks back into the living room with a small smile on his face "My idiotic brothers are coming back but just so you know I won't allow them to say anything rude to you but they may come off as harsh but I promise that they will warm up to you, Harry is like a puppy once he's used to you! He will constantly follow you and touch you better be ready for that." 

I nod at Marcel's words with a tiny smile on my face "What about Edward?" I ask slowly. Marcel tilts his head slightly "Well Edward is different, he uhm doesn't love or like that easily... He rarely tells me or Harry that he loves us, he usually just shows it by being telling us what to do and taking care of us in a bodyguard like way. He doesn't really do stuff like feelings or caring for people." 

I frown at Marcel's words "That must be very lonely." Marcel chuckles "He chooses for it himself so it should be fine." 

I shake my head "No not showing emotions must be hard and I'm sure that it's lonely not to show care for others." Marcel shrugs "Eh he probably just wants to seem like a badass but anyway enough about him. What movie do you want to watch? Oh and don't you dare ask for one of our favorites." 

I blush slightly because I was about to say that Marcel should just pick his favorite. "Uhm could we watch grease then?" Marcel nods "That's a great pick! Oh we should get some blankets out and put the candy on the table!" Marcel yells out of nowhere making me giggle at his silliness. 

Marcel and I are softly chatting when I hear the front door open "Honey we are home!" I hear Harry yell out, Marcel rolls his eyes and leans closer to my and whispers in my ear "They have to apologize to you before anything else ok?" I nod even though I just want to tell them that it's ok and that I'm not angry but then again that wouldn't be fair to myself because I shouldn't push my feelings away just to make them comfortable or happy. 

Harry and Edward walk into the room and I can't help but gasp, Harry is holding a giant teddy bear while Edward is holding a few bags of gummy worms but with silly smiles on their faces. 

Marcel cleans his throat "Talk to him." "oh Uhh yeah of course. Ok look I'm sorry about the way we acted... Honestly we don't even have a reason we are just jerks I guess, well it's also that we are not used to have new people around us due to the fact that we are jerks..." Edward says slowly while scratching the back of his head. 

Marcel huffs "That's literally the worst apology ever!" "Well at least we did apologize!" I chuckle at the bickering between the brothers which makes all of them look at me.

"I-I uhm I accept your apology?" I blush slightly at all the attention I'm getting right at this moment. Harry smiles at me "That means a lot. We also got you this bear and some gummy worms oh and two letters, one from me and one from Edward you should read them when you're alone." 

I nod at what Harry says and smile up at him when he hands me the bear "Thank you" I mumble out and hug the bear close to my chest. 

Edward then also walks over to the couch and actually sits down next to me, my eyes widen and I can't help but feel slightly nervous at the fact that he's this close to me. Edward seems to notice that and scoffs "Don't worry I'm not going to hit you or something at least for now." "O-ok" I squeak out while holding the bear even tighter while my body shakes slightly. 

"Edward don't say stuff like that! Can't you see that the boy is terrified! He's literally shaking!" Marcel says sounding agitated. Edward huffs "Calm the fuck down Marcel I'm just kidding jesus." 

"No Edward this is not the moment for jokes like this, the boy wants you to like him even though he's scared of you but here you are making him even more scared." Edward huffs and gets up and starts walking out of the room with Marcel on his heels while scolding him. 

I feel someone sitting down next to me, I look up from the bear slightly and look right into Harry green eyes. He smiles softly "Hi Louis, I'm very sorry you know... I'm not the best with words but could we just start again?" I nod slowly, the shaking of my body becomes less and I hold the bear less tight so I can see Harry fully. 

Harry smiles even wider when I nod and he holds out his hand to me making me tilt my head but then I finally realize what Harry wants. 

I put my hand in Harry's huge hand, it literally swallows my whole hand "Nice to meet you, I'm Harry Styles." I can't help but let out a soft giggle at this silly thing that happening right now, Harry coos and rubs his thumb over my hand. "h-hi I'm Louis." 

Harry stares at me for a little while making me feel slightly uncomfortable "Louis may I hug you?" I nod and let Harry pull me into his arms, he gently rubs my back and whispers "I can't believe that I was mean to you... You're so sweet." 

The clearing of a throat makes me pull back from the amazing hug that Harry is giving me. 

I look over to the doorway to see Edward standing there "Louis can I talk to you privately?"
