Aru, Hira, Sheela, and Aiden made it to the main hall, only to see it as a complete mess. Swords were drawn out and clashing, people were screaming, and a few were cowering. Boo and Keira were distracting people by flying overhead, but all in all, it was a disaster.
Aru ran over to Mini, who had a dagger drawn, "What's going on?!"
Mini had time to roll her eyes, "Well, a certain snake boy spilled our secret. Don't ask how. I don't know either. He just said something happened."
Aru raised an eyebrow, her fists ready to fight, "What secret?"
Mini's eyes darted around, and she spotted a man trying to pull off a sneak attack on Niki. She threw her dagger, hitting him square in the chest. Mini looked at Aru, "We were undercover. Trying to pose as family members to Carja to get the location of the jewel. Which, sadly, isn't here."
Aru furrowed her eyebrows, thinking, "I have an idea! We need to get the others close so we can scream out the plan or something."
Mini rolled her eyes, "Is it a good plan?"
Aru held up her hands in defense, "You expect too much from me."
Mini nodded, "Thought so," her eyes darted behind Aru. "Incoming!"
Aru swirled around and had just enough time to electrocute a woman that was sloppily swinging a sword towards her neck, "GUYS! GET TO THE MIDDLE OF THE HALL!"
The gang seemed to understand what she meant because one by one, everyone made their way to the middle of the hall, standing back to back with their weapons up. Brynne stared at Aru, "Glad you got Hira back."
Aru nodded, "Now listen up, cupcakes. Aunty Aru's got a plan."
"Oh no," Niki mumbled. Aru shot her a glare.
"This plan is mainly just Boo and Keira. You guys need to help me here. Boo, remember your power? The wings?"
Boo nodded, "Yes. But if your plan is to use it, then I can't help you. I lost 2 lives. I have one left."
Aru groaned, "Why must the universe hate me this much..." she looked around, trying to fix up her plan, "Okay! New idea."
"Aru, I might be able to help though," Boo replied.
"We're trying to survive, so make it snappy," Aru said, trying to hold off two men at once.
"Right. Keira and I know where the Falcon Heart is, we just need a little help getting there. Actually... I don't think we'll need help. Stay here. Can you come with me, Keira?"
Keira neighed in response, and Mini translated, "She says that the guards who locked her up were Carja's personal guards. They were apparently talking about the jewel's location. She and Boo can go get it while we hold all these people off."
"Oh goody. You ready to possibly blow things up, Keira?" Boo asked, rubbing his hands together.
Then, the two were off. They disappeared down a hallway, trying to get the jewel. A loud sound was heard, but no one really paid attention to it. They were busy enough.
Aru was running out of weapons and energy. She looked around for potential throwing objects when she saw a fruit slipping out of Aiden's backpack. It was glowing a poisonous green and seemed to be making sure Carja didn't come close.
He was avoiding Aiden at all costs, trying to fight any of the others. Aru grinned, "AIDEN! The fruit! Carja hates the fruit!"
Aiden's head whipped to his backpack and he pulled the fruit out, pointing to it, "How do I get it to him?!"
