I like to imagine that Illumi blames all of his body pains on Hisoka
Like if his legs hurt he'll go "GODDAMNIT HISOKA", but if it was actually Hisoka's fault he won't blame it on Hisoka.
Also just imagine being Hisoka and seeing Illumi like that UGH 😩‼️

"Illumi, are you okay?" Killua looked over to Illumi, who just fell over. "I'm fine-" Illumi said, getting up. "You seem really tired today." Killua said, looking Illumi up and down. "Yeah.. I just stayed up late." He said, getting a glass.

"Oh! Got it. Sorry, thought Hisoka made you forget your own name again and stuff." Killua joked. Illumi paused, but quickly got back to getting his water. "What do you know." He said, out of breath.

"That you're out of breath because Hisoka kept you up all night and you can't walk because you two f-" Kikyo entered the kitchen. "Good morning, children." She sounded rather tired, Killua kind of knew that was partly his fault.

"Illumi, dear, thank you for not keeping me and your father up all night and keeping quiet." Kikyo smiled at her son, which was sort of difficult, knowing she was only 5'7.

"He was at Hisoka's house, that's why he didn't make any noise." Killua said, yawning. "Mhm." Illumi said, taking a sip of water. "It was best, knowing I should move out soon. So getting used to Hisoka's place would be best." He stated.

"And you say you aren't gay.." Kikyo whispered. "Oh, business call, one moment." Illumi left the room with his phone, stumbling every few steps.

The business call in question:
"Hello, Hisoka?" Illumi sighed, he needed to get things done. "I just wanted to say that I love you, and I cherish you and you're the love of my life." Hisoka was sliming on his side of the line.

"And... What do you need? I'm busy." Illumi said, sighing. I mean, he never called him for nothing. "I need to ask a favor." Hisoka replied, to Illumi, it sounded like he had just closed a door. "What is it? I can be over in... 30 minutes."

Illumi raised his index finger to a butler who had just entered the room. "There's this person, he's bothering me, and a lot." Hisoka replied. "Alright. This won't be free, Hisoka." Illumi said, yawning. "Aww, is my Illu tired~?" Hisoka giggled.

"I have 30 minutes to get there, 4 to plan something out and 1 hour to get back, let's hurry this up." Illumi said, sitting down. "Mhm.. That'll be it. I'll see you soon, Illu~ I love you, goodbye." Hisoka said, making a kissie sound. "Of course. I love you too, goodday, Hisoka." Illumi then hung up the phone.

He walked back into the kitchen. "Hisoka again. Idiot needs another favor." He said, grabbing his glass of water. "So, what happened with Hisoka last night?" Kikyo asked, all Illumi bothered to reply with was a yawn and then a nod.

"So Killua is telling the truth?" She asked, Illumi again, replied with a nod. "Why are you questioning my life?" He asked, taking a sip of water. "Well, you're my son." She said, smiling.

"Mother, not to disrespect, but I am twenty-four, have been acting like an adult since nine, I'm married, financially stable, even without the family's money and I have a therapist." Illumi said, putting the glass down.

Kikyo looked at Killua, then Illumi, and again and again. "Oh... So I'm just a terrible mother? I'm sorry." She said. "Yes." He replied bluntly. Looking over at Killua, he smiled. "I..." Kikyo said. "See, Kikyo, I don't think you understand that I am moving out, and soon, and the fact you will be dead to me. I will not need the family business to keep myself going, I will still get people assign me people to kill."
