A/N: Gosh, I'm so sorry it took me this long to update, a few things happened and I wasn't feeling creative enough to write. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the chapter :)

On his way back home Louis felt terribly guilty for putting Harry in such an awful situation at the park, so he thought he must make it up for everything and make sure Harry felt safe with Louis, he wanted Harry to trust him. When he arrived home he told Jay everything that happened and how he felt so angry for not even defending Harry in the moment everything happened. Later he asked his sisters to help him prepare a gift for Harry and he asked his mum to help him think about how he could make Harry feel better.

While trying to think of something, Louis discovered a basement in Mr. Jackson's house, it was all dusty and old, but it was a big comfy place. He saw an old piano covered with a blanket and immediately knew what he had to do to help Harry feel better. He asked Jay to help him cook a meal for Harry and asked her if he could invite Harry over. His sisters made a drawing of Harry and decorated it with a lot of glitter, for the final touch Louis wrote something on it.

He spent all Saturday cleaning the basement and decided to bring some blankets and cushions to sit properly. He rang Harry and asked him if he was free to come to his house the next afternoon, and after Harry said he was he told Jay he was ready to learn how to cook. His mother helped him enthusiastically and proud of his son being such a good person.

On Sunday morning he woke up early to start cooking his meal, he went for a chicken stuffed with mozzarella, wrapped in parma ham with a side of home made mashed potatoes. Louis had absolutely no idea how to cook, yet with his mum's help he managed to make a decent dish. After he had his meal ready, he went to a flower shop Anne recommended Jay, and bought a bouquet of transvaal daises.
At 2pm he was waiting for Harry with his arms hidden behind his back.
-Hello Louis! Thank you for inviting me to your house, well Mr. Jackson's -Harry greeted happily

-Hi Hazz, these are for you. -Louis handed him the flowers he bought and suddenly felt pathetic. What if Harry actually found all this embarrassing? But Harry's expression proved his thoughts wrong.

-F-for me? -Harry gasped as he opened his eyes to show its bright green shining -These are beautiful, no one has ever gifted me flowers before -Harry couldn't stop smiling.

-Yes, for you. It's my way of apologising for what happened. That's why I invited you to come over, I've got a surprise and hopefully you'll like it.

They walked in comfortable silence, Harry staring at his flowers happily. Once they arrived, Louis guided the way to the basement. The place was decorated with tiny lights that weren't used for the rest of the Christmas decorations, there were some cushions and blankets on the floor and a tiny improvised table with the meal Louis cooked.

-I hope you like the food, I'm not a good chef, I'm sorry if it's awful.

-You cooked all this? -Harry couldn't believe Louis did all this just to make him feel better.

-Yes, I-I felt so bad after what happened, it was my fault you had to go through that awful moment. I also have a gift for you -Louis handed Harry a tiny box and a card. When he did so, Harry noticed Louis had his nails painted

-You... -Louis cut him off, before he could finish -Please open the box first -Louis said

Harry opened the box and found a couple of glittery nail polishes. One was a light shade of blue and the other one was a light shade of pink. He took the card and opened it to find a drawing of himself smiling, surrounded by glittery flowers and tiny drawn stars. In the middle of the drawing he read "painted nails make Harry beautiful" and his cheeks went all red, he didn't know what to do or to say, he couldn't even express what or how he was feeling.
