Florida and North Carolina were walking to their room to go to bed. However when they opened the door, they saw a guilty Georgia next to a series of blankets tied together leading out the window. "You mind telling me what your doing with all our sheets?" North asked. Georgia sighed, "you guys promise not to tell anyone, especially dad?" Florida and North both nodded. "Its..its about Dixie"

"What are you talking about, he's been dead for years" North asked, confused. "I found a way to bring him back" Georgia explains. Florida decided to chime in, "and you didn't think to tell us before you stole all the sheets?"

"I didn't know if you guys woulda told Union. He's a great dad but there's no way in hell he'd be ok with this" he said, nervous that he was gonna lose his chance to bring back his uncle. "I'm not letting you do this by yourself" Florida said. Georgia shouldn't have been surprised by this, after all, Florida was not only the oldest child, but also his best friend. Florida would put on his gator cape and dawn his identity as Florida Man. This usually ended with him doing something crazy or unexpected, but through most of that he brought along Georgia to help him. He'd rope others into it from time to time, too the Carolinas', Alabama, Texas, but Georgia was usually top of the list of people he asked. Of course these didn't help with the fact that the North, especially California, saw all of these as typical southern behavior.

"I'm in too" North said, snapping Georgia out of thoughts. "Are you guys sure? This is probably gonna be dangerous, and it won't look to good in the eyes of the Yankees." Georgia questioned. "Dixie was our uncle too, Yallywood" North said, calling Georgia by his nickname.

"Alright lets do this, lady's first!" he said gesturing towards the window. That earned him a playful punch to the shoulder by North as he climbed down the makeshift rope, Cheerwine™ in hand. Then it was Florida's turn. Instead of going down like a normal person, Florida climbed down the house. Finally it was Georgia's turn to go down. Just before he left he saw a picture on his nightstand of him with America next to the giant peach he received from his dad. "I hope things are alright while I'm gone...

8:00 am.

America let out a yawn as he woke up. As usual he hears the standard noise that fifty states make coming from around the house as poured himself a coffee. It seemed like another morning to him, a meeting with the UN tonight, faint voices from states threw his bedroom walls, he had to clean his sunglasses. But what he saw when opens the door wasn't normal at all.

He instantly saw Michigan and Ohio looking threw containers frantically, while Alabama, Mississippi, and Nebraska were running from room to room, as Hawaii sits in the corner with a look on her face which tells him she's on the brink of tears. Then she sees him and bolts toward him for a hug. "Dad, its an emergency, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina are missing."

Ame was stunnned by this and took a second to respond while he processed the information. "Hold on Hawaii, start from the begging." He says, still in shock. With Florida it would have made sense for him to be missing, after all, it was Florida. But North is usually on time, and Georgia couldn't brake a rule to save his life. "We were playing around like usual but then Alabama asked if anyone knew where Georgia was. Then we realized that no one knew. Then we realized it wasn't just him. We've been looking for them but there's, no trace of clues anywhere." Hawaii said in one quick breath. Ame put his  hand on Hawaii's shoulder to help calm her down.

"Its ok, I'm here now. Lets check their room, maybe they left something behind to tell us where they went!" Hawaii just nods and follows him to the southeast's room where he saw Tennessee and Oregon looking for anything that could give them some indication as to where they went. "Did you find anything yet?"

Tenn looks up and sees Ame looking down at him, worry clear in his face. "Other than the sheets" He said pointing towards the rope still hanging out the window. "We can't find anything, its like they just.. disappeared!" Tenn threw his hands up in the air in annoyance. "There's gotta be something Tenn, we just have to keep looking" Oregon said, joining the conversation.

Ame ran over to the window, taking the cloth in his hand. The knots were done strong and well, meaning it was probably made by the empire state of the south. He looked to where it led and saw 20 or so states outside, all looking for they're missing brothers. Just outside the window was South Carolina, Louisiana, and Kentucky looking around the bottom of the rope. They're were others too, Nebraska seemed to be leading a group consisting of her, Oklahoma, Utah, and Kansas in the garden looking for a lead. New York had a similar group made up of him, New Jersey, Delaware, Nevada, and the Virginias. Texas was trying to intimidate a lamppost into telling her where they where. Even California was helping, in a group with Washington, Alaska, Massachusetts, and Idaho.

Even from that window he could see the looks a anger, worry, and sadness on their faces. Ame didn't understand why this was happening. Why would they run away, Especially Georgia. After all, after the civil war he was the first southern state to successfully reintegrate into the house, working and playing with his northern and southern siblings. "It just didn't make any sense." He said to himself. He stood up, knowing that regardless of why they went he needed to find them.

19:34

Ame walked into the UN meeting room where as usual different countries sat in their groups around a table with UN at the end of it. Ame sat down in chair next to Canada and Aussie. "Hey Ame are you ok, you haven't been answering my texts today." His younger brother said, concern clear in his face. Before Ame could answer, UN shouted over the crowd, "settle down everyone it's time to begin the meeting." A silence settled over the room. UN looked down at his papers and a confused look briefly came across his face, as if he had the wrong papers. Then after a moment's pause he boomed, "It looks like America has an announcement." This managed to draw a few whispers from the crowd as Ame was usually half asleep during these meetings, never mind bringing up new matters. Ame looked over the countries, "I can't believe I'm doing this" he thought to himself. But he knew he had no choice, his runaway states were gone and he couldn't find any leads. He needed help from more then just his states. He addressed the room, "last night three of my states ran away. I've looked anywhere they might have left a clue but there was nothing. I...I need help finding them." He finished. The room was completely devoid of sound for a minute, then a hand rested on Ame's shoulder. "All you had to do was ask" An Australian accented voice said. "We'll find them" Canada said, eager to find his nephews. "I'm in too" Germany said. "Same here" said Japan. Soon most of the room had volunteered to help. Even Russia, a country he wasn't exactly on the best terms with, hated the thought of a Country losing his kids.

But while most where interested in helping Ame, North Korea sat in corner, a smirk on his face. Ame had lost three of his states! Maybe he could use this to turn them against him. And if he couldn't use them, Ame would still be weakened and devastated if they where never found. Or dead.

Dear the 1.7 people who might be reading this.

So this is my first time writing a story, but I always wanted to and I really wanted to just write this since I had the idea for it. If anyone has any tips for writing, please share them in the comments cause I have no idea what I'm doing. Or if you have a state you want me to make a character. I really hope that the 1 person reading this story is a pro writer.
