Florida gave Georgia a hand as he climbed to the top of a boulder. At the peek of the rock, North sat on a log, looking out into a grassy field and the now rising sun. For some reason, the real weight of this adventure hit him then. He had run away without telling anyone. Not only that, but they were going to use a book Georgia took from their dad to do a process that was incredibly dangerous to bring back their dead uncle, who at least half of his family hated. "Hell" he muttered, drawing the attention of his two brothers. "You ok?" Georgia asked, a little worried. "Just... I just thought about what we're really doing here, bringing back uncle Dixie, running away, you know. I guess I just never thought of it before." He said. Georgia walked over to him and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "Hey, this wasn't your idea. It was mine." He said. "I came along though, god, I hope everyone at home I doing ok."
"We had to do it North," Florida piped up, "Uncle Dixie woulda done the same for any of us." He said, mirroring Georgia and putting an arm around his shoulder. "Your right, your right" North's voice faded off. The three sat there, staring out into the purple and red sunrise and field. None of them talked, but somehow, it said a lot about the states. About their brotherhood, about their resolve, and most importantly, about there friendship.

America stood between the six states. He was still taken aback by the attack. He couldn't believe that would happen. His states always cared about each other. Like any siblings, they had their problems, sure, but not like this. Not since the civil war. "I don't want either of you two to be near each other until this is all over, do you understand?" He scolded them. Neither spoke, they simply nodded. As Ame was about to talk to them, Germany, Russia, South Carolina, and Arizona all walked in. South and Arizona had clear looks of confusion on their faces as to the cuts and bruises on Nevada and Alabama. Russia decided to talk first, "Amerika, we found something." The room went quiet for a second before Ame could process the news. Then it clicked, "You did? Were? What is it? What did you find?" Ame started shooting off questions. "Ame, calm down." Germany said. "We found a cave on the path we were searching. In it their was a empty syringe of pain killers and freeze dried peaches."
"Well lead the way come on there's on time to waste. Let's go." Ame said as he practically pushed the two countries out the door. Before he left he looked back, "South, I need you to call all the states and tell them."
"Can do" she said, already on her phone. "Good," Ame said "then meet us at the cave. The rest of you," he gestured to the states gathered in the room, "Stay here in case they come back." The others wanted to protest but Ame was already out the door before anyone could do anything.

America ran into the cave where the only lead they had was located. He saw other countries already there, with more on the way. "Its over there," Germany said, pointing to the section of the cave where the peaches had been found. Ame approached it and at first didn't see much, until he examined it more carefully. He saw two dried peaches just sitting on the cave floor. Then, upon looking over the edge, he saw blood, and lots of it. His face grew pale from that, 'blood, blood, why is there blood.' He felt a million thoughts go threw his mind. Then he heard a gasp from his left. He looked over and saw a shocked South Carolina next to him, eyes dead set on the blood. Then she just started to sob. It wasn't loud though, as most would think it would be. It was silent, light noises of her crying escaped her mouth but nothing more. Ame could only lean down and hug her, doing his best to be reassuring.
Then Australia ran to his side. "Ame" he said, out of breath from running and, "Clockwork found something." It took a moment for Ame to recognize the name, then he remembered that Clockwork was one of Assuie's crocodiles that he'd been using to help find clues. He lead them to a narrow, rocky, unsafe, crumbling section of the cave. "According to Clockwork, they went threw here." Assuie said to Ame. Germany came over too and commented, "that passage is too unstable for the whole search party to fit through. At best you can fit two, maybe three people threw."
Ame looked over his shoulder and saw South with a pleading look on her young face, as if she were begging him to let her come. He sighed, "alright, me and South are gonna search inside the cavern in 5" He said, more than a little hesitant. "Nada, Aussie, could you come over here for a second" America said, gesturing towards himself. "You'll find them, mate," Aussie said in a sympathetic tone. "Right now, its not them I'm worried about. I need you to take care of the states at home. I'm not there and tensions are already getting bad between them." Ame looked over his shoulder to make sure no one else could easily hear, then spoke quieter, "there was a fight between Alabama and Nevada recently over this. I'm worried it'll escalate. Think you guys are up for it?" Ame asked, a worried face just about showing under his sunglasses. Canada hit his shoulder, "of course Ame, just find them, and bring them home." Ame nodded a thanks then, sighed, "alright South, let's do this," he said as he started to work his body threw the tight cavern.

Sorry for the late upload, I was out of town when I wrote this. So I actually wrote this in Five different states. That's why I chose to put in Arizona. I never know what to put here. Sorry about the short chapter as well. Also sorry for the unpolished last chapter I released last time, I hadn't edited it yet or finished the chapter but I accidentally clicked publish. I want to try to get back to my normal upload time next week but no promises. Also someone voted for chapter 1! I don't know what that means but I'm happy. Thanks for 120 views,!
P.S
Sorry for my spelling of Aussie.
