"They're here?!" Y/n said worriedly as she yelled to Technoblade as he finished up his conversation with the villagers ringing the bell in the middle of the village causing the villagers to run towards their small homes. 

"Alright tie up your horse in one of these pens!" Technoblade responded back as he followed his own order. 

Both Y/n and Technoblade met at the bell in the middle of the village after they both put their horses in a safe place, both of them putting up their shields and pulling out their swords from their sheath's. 

"Okay, I know you have the timing on the crossbow's but you need to watch the vindicators." Technoblade said as the patrol started to approach earning a small hum from Y/n. "There'll be a raid soon once they see us both here so just be cautious." He said checking around the corners of the small houses to watch what was happening in the patrol. Although Y/n looked calm, it was quite the opposite in her head causing her to have a small panic attack. Not having any experience with patrol's more or less raids? Not heard of around her home. "Hey you'll do just fine." Technoblade said as he noticed the color slowly draining from Y/n's face causing Y/n to shake from the negative thought. 

"Thanks." Y/n said softly as she brought up her shield to block the arrows that were whizzing past them. 

One, two, five, nine, twelve? You and Technoblade were making these pillagers drop like flies but there were still many left to go.

"Ummm Y/N?? I NEED HELP OVER HERE!" Technoblade yelled as he saw Y/n easily taking on all of the pillagers and vindicators. Y/n looked over to see Technoblade challenged with a ravager, some evokers and also some vindicators.

"Oh OH SHI- OK OK IM COMING!" Y/n yelled back when she saw how much trouble Technoblade was in. Putting their backs together they fought as many evokers as possible one person distracting them so the other could attack. Then they took on the vindicators which was an easy task, easy enough that Y/n took them all on while Technoblade started on the ravager.

"TECHNOBLADE I GOT EM!" Y/n yelled over to tell him that she could help him now. Looking around Y/n didn't see any of them anywhere. "TECHNOBLADE?!" Y/n called again to try and find him.

"UH Y/N?!" You heard slightly as well as a few taps of what seemed like the ravager hitting his shield. Quickly making it over a somewhat steep hill you see Technoblade getting pushed into a forest of trees by the ravager. "TECHNOBLADE I'M COMING!" you yelled as you bolted down the hill.

Sword drawn as you build momentum to hit the ravager. Slashing the ravagers leg with the sword, causing it to fall back slightly from the pain. Y/n moving back a little bit not wanting to get hit by it's sharp long horns.

The ravager soon getting up and charging towards Y/n, turning its back on Technoblade finally giving him the chance to land a hit on it. The ravager turning back around towards Technoblade after he landed a hit on the ravager's shoulder blade, breaking a thick leather harness around the ravager's neck and shoulder blades.

Once Y/n saw the ravager get fully invested in Technoblade Y/n took her chance to strike. This time not hesitating to try and land a crit. Y/n finally got a good crit on the ravager, this time on the opposite shoulder blade of the ravager. Y/n took another chance to take a shot. Right in the heart.

Both Y/n and Technoblade watched exhausted as the ravager fell to the ground, taking its last breaths. Both Y/n and Technoblade make eye contact, something Technoblade didn't expect causing him to look away quickly.

"I'm gonna check on the villagers." Y/n said leaving Technoblade behind with a small smile on her face as she went back up the hill.

WHY ARE YOU SO AWKWARD?! Dammit Techno always gotta be messing up things you cannot even make a friend. Technoblade thought beating himself up for it. Ever since he had decided to go with Dream in efforts of blowing up L'manburg, everyone has left him behind moving on with their lives whole still disapproving of him. Knowing that he was part of the reason that their home was gone.

"Here Technoblade." You said as you threw him a golden apple from one of the villagers as a thank you present knowing how you guy's will need to regenerate some health and energy.

"Thanks. Good job out there by the way." He said as he ate his apple savoring the sweet delectable taste of the apple.

"Oh, yea thanks." Y/n said softly, it was the first time Technoblade had ever said anything nice to her that wasn't blatant and cold. This was the side that Y/n wanted to get to know better.

"We should get going to the next village." Technoblade said as he hopped onto his horse, giving the core of the apple to Carl.

"Okay! Lead the way!"
