"Good morning sunshine!" Your dad said softly as he shook you awake. He wanted to spend every last minute that he could with you today since you had to leave later that day."What do you mean. There is no sunshine." You mumbled trying to shake him off of you.
"You are the sunshine. C'mon breakfast is ready!" He exclaimed before leaving the room excitedly.
As you managed to sit up, the smell of waffles and bacon wafted through the air immediately getting you excited. You quickly changed into another set of clothes and put the other one to wash.
"Good morning. What you guys making?" You asked as you jogged down the steep staircase.
"THE PERFECT BREAKFAST!" Nick shouted in a deep voice getting a small wheeze out of you, before taking a seat at the small table.
Your father and brother soon following your lead, sitting down around the table as well. They talked about how much they were going to miss you and your company. With Nick mostly joking around about how he wouldn't have to do all the chores. Before you dug into your plate, a light bulb went off in your head.
"Wait we're eating bacon?" You asked slightly concerned about the pigs in the barn.
"Yea! It's from those pigs you always hated. I figured I'd put them to good use and get something good out of them." You father said with pride as he munched on some.
"Ohh okay..." you said unsure about eating it or not.
"Just eat it Y/n! You probably won't get to eat it while you're there." Nick said sassily before biting into a piece.
Taking his word for it, you ate some. For he was probably right. You wouldn't get to eat any while you were with Techno.
When you all were done, you guys put your dishes in the sink and went outside for a walk before your dad started on about the persistent nurse at the medical hut.
He said she was practically begging him to let her talk to Nick before he left. But he kept telling her that he was out on the battle field fighting for our country which unfortunately we had lost.
Then Nick carried on the rest of the story.
"Then the day the you left, that evening I found her walking up the driveway. So I was like what the hel- heck was she doing here?" He said catching himself with a reassuring smile.
"When we made eye contact she ran towards me so I thought it was you since it was kinda dark." He continued drawing you into his story.
"So I was yelling 'Y/n oh my god what happened?' Then I realized it wasn't you so I stopped and started running the opposite way." He said trying to hold in a laugh.
"I thought whoever this was, they were trying to kill me. So I ran into the house and locked the door. I ran upstairs with the binoculars and looked from our window down at her to find out it was just the nurse that was crazy obsessed with me." He said with a confident tone, making you roll your eyes at his bold remark.
"But after about twenty minutes she left." He shrugged concluding the story leaving you in shock.
What the hell she's crazy?!
"Oh cool." You said slightly cringing not knowing what to say.
But soon your walk was cut short by some heavy rain that came in. You all hurried back to the house soaking wet.
When you got back inside you guys dried off and decided to talk to you while you packed you bag since you would leave at about lunch and hopefully the rain would have subsided by then.
Once you were done you guys all shuffled down the stairs and cleaned up the kitchen while Nick started on the lunch before there was a knock on the door.
Drying your hands, you went to the door reluctantly hoping it wasn't the crazy nurse but instead it was a somewhat familiar yet scared face.
"Phil?"
