"Hey, Y/n we gotta go." Nick whispered as he shook you awake.

"Whyyy its so early." You grumbled before turning away from him.

Soon enough you had gotten up, not being able to fall back asleep after the way Nick shook you. The lines of your mother's note kept replaying in your head as you got ready to leave, Nick already telling everyone his goodbyes.

"We're gonna miss you so much Y/n!" Tubbo said as he embraced you into a quick hug.

"Aww I'm going to miss you guys too!" You said. "But I think I might be back soon."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Nick butted in unhappy about what you just said.

"I- I'll explain later. We need to go home and see dad." You said as Alex brought out you and Nick's horses giving Alex a quick nod and smile before receiving the same from him.

"Y/n? Nick?" You heard from the same dirty window your father had seen you both from before.

"Oh my- DAD! How did you... what?" You said speechless as Nick mumbled similar words. Both of you leaving your horses and belongings outside quickly rushing in the house to see your father.

"Dad!" Both Y/n and Nick said in unison as they got to his room. Seeing their father trying to sit up in his bed, Nick helped him as they all embraced in eachothers warmth from the long hug that they shared.

"I want to know everything that happened!" Your father exclaimed excitedly as both you and Nick took a seat near his bed. Nick starting the story before getting cut off by their father.

"Oh I almost forgot, the nurse gave me this paper to give to you." He said as he passed the small crumpled piece of paper to you.

Dear Y/n and Nick,

After we conducted some tests here at medical hut 076, we found out that your father was only dehydrated. We were able to discharge after 2 days. We hope that you all were able to have a great meet up.

"Dad that's great! We were so worried." You said before embracing him in a hug once again after passing Nick the small piece of paper due to his constant persistent begging. 

"That is great! That's perfect!" Nick said trying to say a complete sentence.

"Yeah.." you mumble to yourself, the thoughts of the note coming back to you.

"Ok anyways get back to the story!" Your dad says as you all head downstairs for dinner.
