||ERIC'S THIRD POV||

"You look like shit, like runny shit with some corn for sprinkles." Maddie told Eric, eyeing him as he ran his hands down his shirt— 5 in the morning is what the clock spat at Eric for him to get up and get ready for the camping trip, Jay was picking him up while Callum took his car with Emily. They would meet at a gas station half way to the cabin around 7 am.

Eric expected his friend to be angry he decided to come but Jay was, weirdly, overly happy. Was he planning on doing stuff with Emily? Eric couldn't help worrying, biting at his finger nails as he got dressed before Maddie decided to come and tease him as he packed his bag. "What do you want?" Eric sighed, looking in the mirror one last time. Eric couldn't tell whether he was worry for the innocent blonde or nervous he would have to spend more of his time with the pretty boy.

I'm gay, and I love myself- he spoke in his head before eyeing his older sister— he zipped up the bag of clothes for the weekend. "Just wanted to see what's been going on with my little brother," Maddie huffed, touching stuff on Eric desk and making him feel uneasy. "I haven't seen you in forever, when you was longer you would of jumped into my arms and wouldn't let go for a few hours." She snorted, brushing the blue dye thin hair from her face.

Eric envied Maddie in many ways, more ways then he wanted to list. Maybe it was the surprising coming out or how bold Maddie was that made Eric have mix feelings about her, Unlike the other members of his family she was the most likely to Eric coming out— he wondered how she would react, shocked? Unsurprised? Disgusted?

"You should eat before you go, I make some killer eggs and bacon." Maddie said like she just claimed she could make one of the hardest breakfast dishes in the world— Eric stomach turned at the thought of the smell of the eggs and greasy bacon against a pan, the sound of the popping noises. The look of it on a white plate, begging for Eric to eat them— and the feeling of how they would feel down his throat, he also puked at the thought.

Jay loud horn saved him, beeping from the driveway. "I have to go, tell mom." Those were Eric last words before exiting the room— making sure not to wake the sleeping house as he threw on a black hoodie from the couch he left the other day.

***

It was noticeable when they got closer and closer to the cabin, their town wasn't full of busy roads nor lights that stayed on 24/7 but the freshly green tall trees welcoming down the black road made it obvious somehow— maybe the fact they looked more nature then the streets back at home, untouched by man— going down at the few mile long road some old signs stating 'lake', 'check in/parking lot', and 'cabins' pointed in different directions.

Jay drove to the parking lot where the pretty mustang Eric looked in awe but also greed, it was parked in some shade. Emily wore a white t-shirt and shorts, showing off the space between her thighs— Callum getting out the car in shorts, flip flops, and a tank top. Is it hot in here, Eric questioned himself looking around the parking lot to see three or two other cars.

"It's hot, when are we going to get into the lake?" Emily whined, waving her self with her hand dramatically— Callum scoff, grabbing the pair of sunglasses from his pocket, putting them on against the blazing sun. "I rather melt to death then swim in fish shit." He claimed.

Eric hid a smile as Jay and Emily walked to the lake, asking the other two boys to check in for them— 'I'm going to be for real, I want you to distract Callum as much as possible so I can get some alone time with Emily. That's the reason you came right?' Eric remembered Jay words a few minutes after stopping at the gas station a few hours ago, why did he even come?

To spend alone time with Callum? Even he knew it would be to risky, what happened if Callum suddenly remembered everything? What happened if Eric, so deep in his feelings, did something stupid? Callum talked to the woman up front in the small building, different fishing and hunting supplies filled it— After that they made their way to their cabin, it was a four bedroom with a kitchen and living room.

"Emily mom took us on a vacation here once, it was so hot, hotter then today, and it smelled of fish shit and sweaty 40 year olds." Callum complained— quickly turning on the AC.

Eric chuckled some, "I couldn't imagine."

"The only reason we came was because Emily wanted to flirt with Jay, if you wasn't here I'm sure she would of made us get different cabins. It's not like I'm against my sister dating it's just does it have to be him? Like there are some many fish in the sea,-" Callum turned his body, Eric had been following him through the cabin.

Looking around the wooden.. everything, it seemed. Finally Callum had stopped and it was in a bedroom, "- do you know what I mean?" Eric nodded nervously.

Callum took off his sunglasses, smirking. "While my sister and your friend are fucking in the water how we get to know each other?"

Eric already knew he would regret this, they sat on the bed— Eric awkwardly off to the side while Callum, comfortable under the sheets— Callum turned off his phone before setting it down on the dresser. "Mm.. Let's ask 20 questions."

HELLOOO- so next chapter will be answering some questions about the two main characters (or any other characters) so if you have anything you want to know about them fill free to leave them-

<<HERE>>

On the other note, I want to start posting twice a week (Mondays and Fridays) since I feel like once a week is to long of a update.. Though I'm having a bit of trouble with my making the story, sometimes I can write three chapters in one sitting (ofc needing a rewrite because it would be messy lol) and other days I can barley write a paragraph— So I feel like I need to get to stop where I can write more, and have more ideas with this story. So it will prob be awhile lol.

Lastly I want to increase my word count on theses stories, I usually write up to 1000 words and no less but from looking back at theses few chapters I've seen it really isn't much— you can read them pretty fast as well. I don't want to drag on chapters or do lots and lots and LOTS of time skips because I mean why would I add things I hate reading into my own story lmao. So that's something I need to work on as well, so if the chapters start getting longer- don't question it- but I also kind of like short chapters, they are easy on the eyes and usually have a gold amount of chapters when done.
