Chapter 34: Chant

Mazikeen's POV:
After a while I was called into Dumbledore's office. I walked inside and saw Dumbledore looking out the window. "You wanted to see me professor?" He nodded and turned around. "There is no need to call be professor anymore Mazikeen. You can call me Albus." I smiled and nodded. "Ok well you wanted to see me?" He nodded. "Yes well I have some things to share with you. Something about Cain and Lucifer." Now that caught my attention. "Cain and Lucifer? What would that be?" Dumbledore sighed "It might take me a while to gather everything but it's about an unbreakable vow they made years ago. When you were only 11 if I'm correct." I nodded. "Well please take your time to find it but I'm eager to know what it was." He nodded and soon after some talking he dismissed me.

After a while I was called to the Astronomy Tower where I saw Harry and Dumbledore talking. After he told me the same thing he told Harry about us needing to obey every command he gave us and stuff like that. "Now I need your word for it Mazikeen." I nodded "You have my word."  He nodded. "Now you two take my arm." Harry looked confused. "Wait but I thought you couldn't apperate on Hogwarts grounds." Dumbledore smiled "Well being me has its advantages."

We took his arm and we were in this weird cave place. "This place has no magic." Dumbledore said and grabbed a knife. He started to cut his hand and Harry looked at him. "Sir-" Dumbledore shook his head. "Payment must be made to gain entry. Payment intended to weaken any intruder." I sighed "You should have let one of us." Dumbledore shook his head. "Your blood is much more precious than mine." He then glided his hand along a wall and it started to move. We started to walk in and Dumbledore started speaking. "Voldemort won't make it easy to discover his hiding place. He puts up certain defensives into position. Now careful." He looked at us. I wasn't paying attention for a minute but next thing I know we are pulling on a chain to get something out of the water. Next thing we were doing was climbing off the boat and we were standing over something. Dumbledore looked up at us. "It has to be drunk. All of it has to be drunk. You two remember the conditions on which I brought you with me? This potion may paralyze me. Might make me forget why I'm here. It might put me in so much pain that I beg for relief. You are not to indulge on these requests. It's your job to make sure I keep drinking this potion. Even if you have to force it down my throat. Understand?" I sighed "Why can't I drink it." Harry nodded. "Or me too." Dumbledore shook his head "Because I am much older, and much more cleverer and much less valuable." He took some of the potion and starting shaking violently. "Professor?!" Harry yelled and I shook my head "We have to do it Harry." We took turns making Dumbledore drink the potion as much as we didn't want to. After a while he looked at Harry. "Water..." Harry ran over to the bowl and inside was a locket. Harry grabbed it and got Dumbledore some water. I'm not sure what happened after that but for some reason these weird looking creatures started crawling out of the water. Me and Harry started to fight them off while they crawled out of the water. Soon they were to much and they grabbed me first and pulled me into the water. "Harry!" I yelled and he looked back. "Mazikeen!" Before also being pulled into the water. Soon I was freed and when I surfaced I saw Harry and everything was on fire. "Harry!" I swam over and we both got out of the water. We looked and saw Dumbledore creating this firestorm.

We apperated back to the Astronomy Tower and Harry and I helped Dumbledore walk. "We need to get you to the hospital wing sir." Harry said and Dumbledore shook his head. "Severus. Severus is who we need. Tell him what happened. Tell nobody else. Severus you two." We nodded and went to go get him. We turned around after we heard some noises. "Hide yourselves below. Do not speak or be seen by anybody without my permission. Whatever happens, it's imperative you stay below. Do as I say. Trust me." I looked at Harry and he nodded. We did as he said and went below to hide. I don't think what happened next was very important compared to what happened next but it was mostly Draco and Dumbledore speaking. Draco was talking about how he had to kill him or someone was going to kill him. I then heard and saw death eaters ahead. I saw Bellatrix Lestrange. If it wasn't for obeying Dumbledore I would have went up there and got her. I saw Harry point is want up but a board creaked. We turned around and saw Snape behind us with his wand pointed at us. He put a finger up to his mouth telling us to be quiet. We put our wands down and Snape went above. I saw Dumbledore looking down at us through the cracks between the boards. Dumbledore then looked at Snape. "Severus....please." After that me and Harry had to watch Snape kill Dumbledore and had to watch as his body fell from the astronomy tower.

Me and Harry went after Snape and the death eaters who were at Hagrid's hut. "Snape!! He trusted you!" Harry yelled and Snape turned around. Harry tried to hit Snape with a spell but he blocked it. "Fight back you coward! Fight back!" Bellatrix then hit Harry with a spell and I yelled. "YOU AREN'T GOING TO HURT MY BROTHER AFTER YOU TOOK ONE AWAY FROM ME!" I went to hit Bellatrix with a spell but she blocked it and skipped away. After I saw she was gone I ran to Harry's side. "Harry are you ok?" Snape walked over and looked down at Harry. "You dare use my own spells against me?" Yes, I am the Half-Blood Prince." After that I helped Harry to the court yard where everyone was gathered. We pushed through the crowd and walked up to where Dumbledore laid. Harry knelt beside him and held the locket. Ginny walked over to comfort Harry who was crying.

Hermione's POV:
I watched as Mazikeen walked over to the Astronomy Tower wall and punched it repeatedly having no reaction. I understood why she was upset but I feel like there was something else there. I watched as she stopped and just sat against the wall. There was blood on the wall from her hand obviously. 

Mazikeen's POV:
Now I would never know why my brothers made that unbreakable vow. I couldn't help but rage when I realized he was really gone. I know punching the wall was a little stupid but I was angry. Dumbledore had information that could help me and now from what I knew it was gone. Harry had found out the locket was a fake and there was a note. Hermione read it aloud. "R.A.B? Who's R.A.B?" I looked up. "Who could that be?" Harry shrugged "I don't know. But whoever they are, they have the real Horcrux."

Ignore mistakes I didn't read over. ALSO HALF BLOOD PRINCE TIME LINE IS NOW OVER!!! I have been waiting so long to get this movie over with in this story. Also I assure you a lot of Viktor content is coming. I've noticed since I stopped bringing Viktor in a lot my views are going down. Even though this is a Viktor love interest story I still want to make it about Mazikeen's journey. Her story is worth reading about and puts you into the new storyline "What would happen if there was someone else" and you can see how the story has changed just by making Sirius survive and be proven innocent. Now I've seen stories where there are two chosen ones but Mazikeen isn't the chosen one. Harry is. Mazikeen is just someone who is going to help Harry defeat Voldemort by teaching him spells and skills. Now if you notice we see Mazikeen change so much from the beginning of the story to now. Before all of this her life was perfect and she was happy. Now of course her life was flipped upside down and she has lost so much yet she still is able to see a light with Viktor. I hope you all enjoy the story so far. All my love
