End Game Part 43

Inside her vault were loads of gold pieces and jewelry stacked on top of each other
Golden cups and golden crows
Everything was gold in here

  "Blimey" Ron said "she's rich rich"

I nodded
  "The Blacks' are"

I felt a pull towards the room and when I looked at Harry I noticed he was walking towards it already
I walked behind him, careful to not touch anything but I heard a crash come from behind us
Ron had bumped into a table with gold necklaces on it, the necklaces multiplied 15 times and all fell to the ground

  "Ok so don't touch anything" he said to us "it burns really bad too" he turned his arm over to show a burn that was already scarring

  "Harry" I said pointing

  "I know" he said back

We both felt the pull towards a cup on the tallest part of her golden mountain
That must be it

  "How do we—" I tried to say but Harry was already moving towards it
Everything he touched multiplied around him, scattering in front of the rest of us
The goblin stayed outside of the vault, I'm sure he didn't want to get caught in here too

  "Harry!" I yelled
We could have found another way to get it

A crown touched my arm and it burned just like Ron said
Then a mountain of gold pieces came crashing down onto Hermione Ron and myself as Harry used the sword to grab the cup from the mountain

We pushed away piece by piece but the pile continued to grow above us, burning our bodies along with it

I felt someone pulling me from out of the mess, when I surfaced I saw it was Harry with the cup and no sword

  "The sword?"

  "Griphook took it when he offered to help, we need to leave" he said

I heard the roaring of the guard dragon and got onto my feet and ran along side Hermione Ron and Harry

When we reached the middle we saw Goblins and Death eaters surrounding the area in front of the dragon

  "Seize them!!" Griphook yelled
That bastard

Spells began flying for our faces
Without my bracelet I couldn't help deflect any of them so we just hid behind the wall waiting for a chance to send back spells

Hermione put the cup into her bag while Harry and Ron shot stunning spells their way
Think think think

  "do you trust me?" I yelled

They all nodded
I ran for the stairs and they followed behind me
We dodged spells on our way up but we didn't send any back

When the spells stopped I looked around the corner at the top of the stairs
A red spell went flying for my face but I pulled back in time

I looked again and they were going for the instrument to scare the dragon
  "Follow my lead"

I ran for the second floor and jumped onto the dragon's back
I held onto a spike that came from his spin and heard thumps behind myself
When I looked I saw all three of them joined me on the dragon

  "I'm sorry" I said firing a spell at his feet that scared him enough to begin climbing the wall
Hermione blasted the chains off of him and we scaled the wall towards the top that I sent a spell at, breaking a hole big enough for the dragon to crawl through

  "What if he can't fly?!" Hermione yelled

We got to the top of the bank and he took a minute to breathe in the fresh air
  "I bet you haven't done that for a while" I said running my hands down his spin "but please fly"

He understood my statement and began flapping his giant wings around to strengthen them
  "You can do it" I said

He jumped from the bank and instead of falling to the ground his wings caught the wind and sent us soaring into the clouds and away from Diagon Alley

We flew for a while before any of us said anything
  "How do we get down?!" Ron yelled

I looked around and saw a lake coming into view
  "We jump"

When we were above the water we all jumped off his back and landed into the deepest part of the lake
Being under water reminded me of when Fred was helping me to calm down when I lost my memory
I hope he doesn't hate me

When I surfaced I saw Hermione leading the group to an island in the middle of the water
I swam to it and let her use her wand to dry us all up

  "No wonder you're Charlie's favorite" Ron said "that was smart thinking"

  "Tell that to Fred when we finish this mission. He thinks I'm only a tag along"

  "No he doesn't he knows you're smart" Ron said back

  "I wish he came with us, we look awful" I said
Each one of us had burns and bruises covering our bodies
Fred would have been able to heal us

  "Do you want to talk about it?" Hermione asked

  "He—"

Harry fell over in pain clutching his scar
  "Are you ok what's happening did he find out?" I asked

  "He knows that we were in her vault...he killed everyone in Gringotts. He said he's going to go check on the ring but Dumbledore already destroyed that...he said he has one at Hogwarts I knew it! We have to go there next before he has a chance to grab it" Harry said getting up from the ground

  "How are we going to get into Hogwarts everything is guarded" Hermione said

  "He has the elder wand as well" Harry said looking at us "he took it from Dumbledore..."

  "So he has the most powerful wand to exist" Ron said

Harry nodded
  "We need the other Horcrux, I read his thoughts his snake is one as well"

  "It's probably guarded too but I think our best bet is to go into Hogsmeade"

They nodded and we all held hands to apparate together to find the last Horcrux
