End Game Part 57

"That confirms it...I am a Horcrux" Harry said looking at me "he needs to be the one to kill me...I assume his plan with you is to capture you and put you under his control. Try to kill Nagini after I'm gone ok?"

"We need someone else to be in on this, if he takes over my mind I won't be able too..."

"No one else can come with us" Harry demanded

"No one has to...whoever the first person we trust who we see while walking out there we need to tell. Someone else might have to complete our goal"

Harry nodded and put the cloak back over our heads
I looked at the wall of Headmasters before exiting, I saw Dumbledore's portrait staring at Harry and I. He winked at us before we turned away and walked down the office stairs

Bodies were still being brought back to the Great Hall, and as luck served us we saw Neville on our way outside
"Neville" I said under the cloak

He jumped and looked around
"Here" Harry said getting his attention

He looked behind himself and still saw nothing of course
"Harry? Electra?? Oh the cloak...what are you doing under there?" He asked

"Never mind that...we need you to do us a favor if our plan fails" I said

"Kill the snake that Voldemort has with him, it can only be killed with a basilisk fang or the sword of Gryffindor if you need help ask Hermione or Ron, please do this for us. Don't tell them we told you, though im she's they will figure it out" Harry said

Neville nodded his head
"Kill the snake ok...Electra, Fred has been frantically looking for you, can I tell him I saw you?"

My heart stung
"No please don't. Tell him I love him though, if he comes up to you again"

He nodded his head
"You aren't turning yourselves in are you? We can beat him don't give up yet"

"We have something that only we can do, thank you for being a good friend Neville"

Before Neville could stop us we continued walking along
I passed by a body I wish I didn't see...

I didn't even realize he was here too

I looked at his body and it looked like the killing curse
At least he didn't suffer...

We continued walking down to the hallway and we almost made it to the front exit without running into anyone we loved
But both Fred and Ginny were outside of the hospital wing looking around

"They can't get passed us if we stay here" Ginny said

"If they have his cloak they can" George added holding Fred up still

Fred glared at him
"Electra? Please stop blocking me from your mind"

I had my shield up all the way to keep Fred out, it was already hard to see him and not go up to him but it's worse to hear him

My soul tugged seeing him so sad but we kept moving
Harry didn't even look at Ginny, I'm sure he's afraid he would give up our mission and end up going to her
She looked so worried
Fred did too

"Electra?" I heard Fred's voice in my mind

I didn't realize I let my shield down

"Freddie"

I shouldn't answer him but I wanted to hear his voice before I did this

"Where are you? You promised me you wouldn't leave my side, come back please. I'm worried about you, I don't want to lose you..."

"I have something I need to do with Harry"

There was silence

"Don't give yourself up...please. No one here wants that we all plan to fight till the end"

"That's the problem Fred. I love you please stay safe"

I closed my mind before he could convince me otherwise
I watched as his face went from worried to panicked

"Fuck! She blocked me out again!!" Fred yelled "They're going to give themselves up..."

We exited the front gate before I could listen to the rest of his conversation

I looked at the sky
Clear like it was when this war began

I saw my dad's star and my mother's like usual, but they didn't dance
They were still

"I'm sorry I have to do this" I whispered up to them

Harry took out the snitch from his locket
"I have this still...I couldn't figure out how to open it. Might as well try again before we give ourselves in"

I nodded my head
"Can you look into Voldemort's mind and see where he is?"

Harry was silent as he looked into his mind
His scar burned him like usual but he didn't fall down, he stayed standing
"Forbidden Forest. There is a crowd around him, including Bellatrix and the Malfoy's minus Draco"

I nodded my head
"Well let's try to get that snitch open?"

We walked together towards our destinies
Harry was giving his life up to end a war, and I was giving my future up to be a pawn if this plan didn't work

"Harry" I said trying to open the snitch "I hate having to do this...but I'm glad we're going together. I would have hated for you to do this alone"

"I would have preferred that over bringing you with me, but I know how you feel. If roles were reversed I wouldn't want you to go alone either, no one should die alone"

Harry tried prying it open again, and then he passed it to me to try with my long nails
We both failed
I turned into Vulpes and sat on Harry's shoulder while I tried chewing it open but we still failed

I turned back to Electra when I hit the ground
"Harry...what do you think he put in it?"

"I have a suspicion that it's the resurrection stone...we know the other two are real, I have a weird feeling it's that"

"Imagine being able to see my parents and yours before we do this...do you think they would be proud or sad about our choice?"

Harry looked up at the stars
"Your parents stars are still...they never are"

"You look up at them too?"

He nodded
"I didn't know your mum, but I look to Sirius a lot. When I'm lost I do"

"I look at them every night. This is the first night I've seen them quiet"

"I really want to open this before we go"

"Harry what if...you caught your first snitch in your mouth have you tried uh putting it in?"

He looked at me confused
"No...but it's worth a try?"

Harry put the snitch up to his mouth and kissed it
The snitch opened up right away

"Guess you didn't need to put it all the way in, just your mouth"

He nodded and when the snitch opened it revealed the resurrection stone
Just like Harry thought...

Harry took the stone and then took the cloak off
He placed the cloak on the ground and then held my hand
We were now at the entrance of forest

"Want to try it?" He asked

I nodded my head

Harry twisted the stone in his hand three times and I closed my eyes
