End Game Part 58

I opened my eyes
"Dad?" I began sobbing

He nodded his head and then I looked to his right
"Mum?"

She nodded her head
Around Harry and I were the spirits of our loved ones, including Lupin

"Lupin your son..." Harry said

"Will grow up knowing his parents fought for his future. Tonks and I made you two his godparents, teach him about us ok?"

"We will!" I exclaimed

"I'm sorry that you two have had to do this...it's unfair" His father said to us "it's cruel"

"But you two are so courageous" His mother said "I always wished you would grow up together...I'm glad to see you have become close"

"Electra, I wish we had the time to be a family" my mum said "I wanted to be your mum so badly...and your father" she said looking his way "did the best thing for you in that situation. I'm so glad you grew up feeling loved"

I sobbed harder
"I wish I got to spend time with you too...why are your stars still?" I asked

"We dance when you need encouragement, but we stay still when you need our strength" my dad said smiling at me "I couldn't have asked for a better daughter"

"Does it hurt?" Harry asked

"Like falling asleep" his dad answered

"You are all together again..." I said looking at my dad and his two best friends

"I'll be joining you soon" Harry said softly

His mum looked upset
"I wish you didn't have to yet"

He nodded

"Will...will you stay with us?" I asked almost begging

"We never left" my dad said smiling "Electra I love you"

"I love you" my mum said

"I love you both too" I said pushing back tears from my face

Harry said his I love yous to his parents and we said it to Lupin, a father figure to us as well and then we continued holding hands towards our destiny

During our walk into the forest we encountered Dementors, but the spirits of our family members kept them at bay. They acted like Patronus protecting us, our happy memories

We found the clearing that Harry saw in his vision and I felt my body tremble
I was giving myself up with Harry
I would have to watch another loved one die...and if he didn't die I would become enslaved to dark wizards for the rest of my life. Fred wouldn't be able to save me from this

"Electra" Harry said before we continued our walk "I'm doing this for you too. I am hoping that when I die Voldemort goes with me, but if he doesn't I'm sorry that my plan didn't work"

"I wish you didn't have to die" I cried again

Our loved ones watched us talk to each other
"I love you, I'm glad to have had you in my life. I wish we had what we were supposed to"

I nodded
"I love you too Harry. We found each other that's all that matters now" I squeezed his hand tightly

I wanted desperately to talk to Fred before I went in, but I couldn't. I wouldn't be able to handle hearing him again

"The hour is up my lord" the voice of Bellatrix said

Harry and I walked into the clearing

"I thought they would come" Voldemort said

"We did" Harry yelled grabbing their attention

Bellatrix began dancing around laughing

I looked beside us and my parents were on my right side
My dad had his hand out for me and I held it tightly, he was holding my mum's hand with his other
I looked at Harry and his parents were on his left side
His dad did what my dad did
Lupin was behind us with his hands on our shoulders
Their spirits were stronger here, I don't know if it's because the stones knows we need them or if it has something to do with the energy that surrounds us, but we were able to feel their touches

We weren't alone
We have them with us we can be brave one more time

"Excellent" Voldemort said

"Electra?? Harry?!" The voice of Hagrid yelled "what are you doing here?? Run!!" He yelled

But we stayed
We even walked forward to meet with him in the center of the clearing
Hagrid was being held by ropes all around his body, I wasn't sure his involvement here but he cared for us I knew that.
This is going to hurt him...

Voldemort pulls out the elder wand and points it to Harry and then to me
"Electra Black" he said

I felt my body tremble again

"You have my power, I won't have you kill Harry only I will do that. But I will have you kill the rest of the school with us" he smiled "starting with mud bloods and blood traitors"

I looked at my right and saw my dad glaring at Voldemort deeply
He looked at me
"Electra you are stronger than him" he said
His voice was only audible for Harry and I to hear "you have a strong mind you won't let him keep you under his control. It doesn't matter that he marked you" he said staring at my barely covered arm now "You are my girl, you are me. The best qualities and the worse unfortunately for you. You are my daughter I love you"

"Imperio!" He said pointing his wand at me and I felt the familiar fog hit my mind
I thought of my dad who was beside me, and Harry who's hand I still held even though I collapsed to my knees
I thought of all my loved ones who passed away tonight
I thought of the loved ones I still have left
I thought of Fred

He entered my mind but I pushed him back out gentle enough that he didn't notice he no longer had me under his control

"Come" he said and so I did
I had a part to play

I let go of Harry's hand and then I watched as my parents disappeared with my leaving his side
"I'm so proud" my dad said before disappearing

I walked beside Voldemort and he laughed
"Good"

Hagrid was yelling again
"Let her go!! Electra you can fight it!!"

"Shut up!" Bellatrix yelled

I looked around the crowd and caught Narcissa's eyes locked onto mine, she looked worried
I winked at her and she smiled back

"Now" Voldemort said putting his hand on my shoulder and pointing his wand at Harry "Avada Kedavra!"
