End Game Part 46

Harry and Luna left the room and went off to find the diadem, leaving Hermione and Ron with me and the rest of the D.A

"Has your journey been hard?" Neville asked

"Hardest thing we've done that's for sure" Ron said "wouldn't have been able to do it without these two" he looked towards Hermione and I
Hermione's cheeks turned pink

"Are we late to the party?" I heard a voice say from the tunnel
Out came Lupin, Kingsley, A few other older ministry workers I didn't recognize and then Mr. and Mrs.Weasley

"No it's just starting" Ron said going to hug his mum and dad
I waited my turn after him and then I went into Mrs.Weasley's outstretched arms

"Hello deary" she said holding me tight "things have been hard I know but you are so brave" she cupped my cheeks "all of you are" she said looking at Hermione and Ron too
I hugged Mr.Weasley after and then Lupin as well

"Have you noticed anything weird?" He asked

"Nothing not even a headache" I replied

"Be careful, you have a strong willed mind don't let him take you" he put his hand on my head "your dad is very proud of everything you've done I know he is"

I felt my eyes swell up but I kept my composure
"Thank you I wish he was here..."

"I know I do too, but he's always with us. The ones we love never truly leave" he pointed to my heart

I placed my hand over my chest and closed my eyes
"No they never do"

After the older members of the order arrived, the younger generation came in
Ginny led the group and Fred ended it

I watched as he jumped down from the tunnel and looked around
I was behind Ron and Hermione but I watched him look at each face until ours met

I stared silently at him and he did the same for me
My heart was racing
I felt my knees began to give out but when he started walking my way, my body instinctively moved his way too until I was fully running into his open arms
I jumped into his chest and he caught me, holding me close to his body
He put one hand on the back of my head and the other around my waist

"You're ok" he said softly "you're ok" he repeated to himself

"I am" I said letting myself feel emotions again "I told you I would be"

I felt him smile
"You did and I didn't believe in you I'm so sorry...I wouldn't ever want to break up. I just said it because...because I was hurt that you wanted to leave again and go into danger. I was terrified for you, and when you left I felt worse than I ever have before. You didn't believe me when I said that did you?"

I started to sob in his arms
"I didn't know if I should or shouldn't have. I was scared that I lost you, but I—"

"Shhh" he said "I never meant it. I just wanted you to stay safe with me, you did incredible this time Electra, you barely look injured" he joked "I made some potions for you all to take in case you were when I saw you again. I also made a hair growing one, because I know how much you loved your long hair" he began running his hands through my shorten hair

"Thank you" I said "I love you"

He placed me down on the floor and put my ring back on my finger
"I love you more" he kissed my ring finger "nothing will ever truly separate us. You are my world and my universe"

"You're my reason for existing Fred, you've been that my entire life. I love you doesn't sound right for how much I feel for you"

He pulled me into his chest again
"Do me a favor"

"Anything"

"Stay by my side, the order received word that you know who is going to come here for a battle...stay with me please. Promise me you won't leave me"

"I promise, we fight together"

"Together"

"The favorite has arrived" I heard Charlie say from inside the tunnel

Fred looked at me and laughed
"Go ahead"

I ran up to Charlie and he grabbed me in his arms and swung me around
"Glad to see you're still alive brave one" he said into my neck

"Same for you Dragon heart"

I hugged Sorina next, she looked like she was glowing
"Are you—"

She put her finger on my lips and winked at me
I smiled deeply but kept the news to myself
This wasn't the time to discuss it I figured out

Lupin was showing pictures of his baby, Tonks was home with her parents he said and the newborn. Everyone was catching up with one another when we heard another set of footsteps come from the tunnel

"I'm not too late am I" the voice of Percy said "when I heard the news I tried to get here as fast as I could"

I looked from Charlie and Sorina to where Fred was near George
All the Weasley siblings were staring dumbfounded at Percy

"Ministry let you off?" Fred asked

"I left when I heard what was happening. I've been trying to leave for a while but with death eaters as coworkers it was really hard, I'm so sorry for everything I did I was a git"

"You were more than that" George joked

Mrs.Weasley ran up to Percy and held him tightly, crying
I went up to him next and did the same thing

"Electra when you and Ron were in the ministry that's when I began trying to leave. I wanted to help you that day but you had already gotten out when I tried looking for you all"

"You're here now" I said
My family is together, my Weasley family that is.
It was twilight when we arrived and by now I knew the stars would be out dancing
I knew that no matter what happened today my dad and my mum would be above me keeping me safe

"Electra can we talk" I heard Ron ask behind me

I nodded my head and followed him to where Hermione was

"I had an idea, we need something to destroy Horcruxes with so Hermione and I are going to go under the bathroom and find a basilisk's fang. You can come if you want?"

I shook my head and looked to where Fred was messing up Percy's hair
"I promised Fred I would stay by his side during this war, and this time I am going to keep to that. Please be safe, Ron thank you for taking care of me while we were on the run. Hermione thank you for being my strength, I wouldn't have been able to survive without either of you...I love you both so much"
Ron hugged me tightly and then kissed my forehead
Hermione pulled me into a tight hug as well but she held on longer
I felt my shoulder getting wet but I knew hers was going to be the same

"You be safe...please" she said "I love you too"

They both waved me goodbye and then I walked back to where Fred was
He was looking around trying to find me it seemed, but when I came into view he smiled

"Where did they go?"

"They went to find something"

"And you didn't go along?"

I shook my head
"I promised you"
