"The room is so spacious!" Beomgyu smiled as he jumped onto the fluffy bed, causing Huening Kai to laugh. 

"We should invite the others later to our dorm during their free time so we can stay up and talk." Huening Kai asked, making Beomgyu smiled widely. 

"Sure, why not? I want to invite the boys in our group too but..." Beomgyu's smile faltered as he heaved a deep sigh.

"Hyunjin does not seem to like me much and it is really stressful when teachers kept pairing me with him for projects and competitions." 

A heavy silence blanketed around both of them for a long while as Huening Kai broke the silence as he flipped open his bright yellow suitcase. 

"We should start unpacking before the ice breaking activity start." 

"Oh right! I had forgotten about them!" Beomgyu groaned as he hit his forehead before scurried to unpack his luggage. 

Both of them were silent as they were unpacking their luggage as they took their time to fill their cupboards and cabinets with their belongings. Huening Kai was nearly finished as all he needed was to put his beloved plushies on his bed and took a spare change of clothes before the ice breaking activity which will be taking place soon. 

"Ping!"

 A notification sounded from his phone. Thinking that it was just his mother or his sister's checking up on him, he decided to ignore as he took off of his pink hoodie that he was wearing but his phone started to have a bunch of notifications coming in. 

"Huening-ah, can you mute your phone for the moment or perhaps, answer the texts? Whoever it is must be really desperate to talk to you." Beomgyu yelled from across the room as he was still frantically choosing his outfit. 

"And don't take such a long time in choosing your clothes, Beomgyu. You always take your own sweet time." Huening Kai replied, shaking his head as he quickly changed into his attire which was a white graphic t-shirt and a pair of black sweatpants before looking at his phone.

Meet me at the back of our dorm
in 5 minutes 
Unless you want me to start spewing lies to Mina, don't you? 

Huening Kai's eyes widened at Hyunjin's text and gulped nervously. He had certainly let the deal he had made with Hyunjin slipped from the back of his mind when he was sitting with Mina back at the bus. Being around Mina and his best friends made him forgot all of his worries for a second. 

His heart thumped at his chest, sweat forming in his palm as he thought what his ex best friend wanted. If only he could share this burden with someone else, he would but he wanted to have a shot at mending his friendship with his childhood best friend. 

He wanted him and Hyunjin to be best friends like how both of them were used to be before Hyunjin started distancing himself from him. 

"Kai, is there something wrong?" Beomgyu questioned as he put on a white shirt and eyed the taller male with concern. 

"N-nothing is wrong! I need to meet with someone for a bit!" Huening Kai uttered as he quickly slipped on his blue sneakers and slipped his phone into the pocket. 

"Oh, it must be something urgent and did you leave one of your stuff at the bus again?" Beomgyu heaved a sigh, knowing how forgetful Huening Kai was as Huening Kai swallowed the lump in his throat nervously before giving him a fake embarrassed smile. 

"I left my wallet at the bus again... I am such a klutz." The taller boy laughed, causing the older one to shake his head while smiling. 

"Go take your wallet before the money is stolen!" Beomgyu yelled as he shooed Huening Kai playfully out of their dorm room. 

"Yes, Beomgyu! I will!" The said boy uttered before leaving the room. 

As soon as Huening Kai stepped out of his room, a breath of relief left his lips and he put his hand over his chest. 

"That's a close one!" 'Huening Kai muttered before looking around the vast corridor of the dorm and walked towards the back of the dorm where Hyunjin was waiting.

"You are 15 minutes late." The raven haired boy's words cut through the still air as the brown haired boy stepped at the location where both would have a private meeting. 

"I-I'm sorry... I need to convince Beomgyu that I had to get something." Huening Kai sighed as he bowed his head. 

"That's not an excuse to be late to our meeting." Hyunjin sneered as he lifted his head up before turning around and looked at Huening Kai with a sharp look. 

"I hope you do not forget about our deal. Yang Mina is mine and we will be friends again. Not only that, I will forgive you for whatever you had stolen from me." 

The taller boy only gulped at the elder's harsh words. Harsh but true. 

"Of course not. I mean, what kind of friend I am if I were to forget your bet?" Huening Kai attempted to joke, trying to lighten the mood up. 

"I am not in the mood for the joke." Hyunjin hissed as he ran his head through his long raven hair which he had grown out. A faint smile plastered on his pink lips as he thought about how Mina complimented him when he sent her a selca of him with his new hair. 

Silence blanketed the pair as Huening Kai stood still, numb and broken. He gnawed on his lips nervously as he looked blankly and hurt at his former best friend.

'Is it worth to let my happiness go for my former best friend's sake?' He thought as he stood still. A part of him was even regretting that he was doing this while the other part chided him for even thinking that when he already had done so much to Hyunjin. 

"I will sit next to Mina at every seat in the lessons and I do not care who you are going to sit with or whatever you do. Do not go near my Mina, you understand?" Hyunjin broke the silence as he glared at Huening Kai from the side. 

"Yes, I understand." Huening Kai uttered quietly, his head bowing. 

"Good and remember, if you fail all of these, you are going to get your consequences. Although my reputation is not good as yours, my words surely are influential as I come from a family of businessmen. You know that, don't you? All I have to do is to spread the word and your reputation and friends will disappear within the snap of my fingers." Hyunjin broke the silence as he clasped his hands behind his back, smiling evilly at how his plan was working. 

He was a step closer in making Yang Mina his and his parents even approved her as they had seen how talented and all rounder she is. 

"I know." Huening Kai said, trying his best to not let his emotions to reign his mind right now. 

He tried to convince himself to let Hyunjin to have a shot for his one and only happiness. He had stolen everything from Hyunjin and it will not be fair if Huening Kai decided to fight against him. 

What Hwang Hyunjin wants is what he will get. 

From the start, Huening Kai knew that Hyunjin will do anything; it does not matter the fact that it is either bad or good, he will do anything to get whatever he truly desires. Even if it means destroying the others who cared so much about him.

"Good and next time, do not to be late to our meeting. Leave Mina and we will be friends again like how you want to." 

With that word, Hyunjin turned around and left with his head held up high in the sky. 

'I never have the gracefulness and elegance like how he walks.' Huening Kai thought sullenly before turning around but a gasp left his lips as he looked at the person in front of him whose eyes and lips were wide open. 

"Huening Kai, what the hell?!"
