𝟤𝟥 ❀ 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝒻𝑒𝒸𝓉 𝒹𝒾𝓈𝓉𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃 ❀

Mina's brain was in a cluttered mess as she found herself getting distracted. Her mind was in a jumble mess ever since receiving two different letters from 'H'. 

Although she was pretty sure that she had never tell this person 'H' about her favourite painting, could it be...?

Mina shook her head harshly as she let out a sigh, landing her head harshly on her Art History textbook. 

'There's no way that it could be Huening Kai. Why is it so hard to get over him?' Mina thought as she let out a sigh. 

Her fingers were tracing in circles aimlessly on her art history textbook, shaking her head as she put her head on the table. She was really confused about Huening Kai's feelings towards her as his attitude towards her changed literally every second. 

In a minute, Huening Kai seemed like he has shared mutual feelings with her and in another, he became cold and reserved about his feelings towards her. 

"Mina-ssi, something's on your mind?" A voice asked, causing Mina to jolt out of her thoughts all of a sudden and turned around to find a concerned Hyunjin looking at her. 

"Ah, I had spaced out a little." Mina giggled slightly as Hyunjin smiled widely before sitting next to her. 

"A penny for your thought?" He asked as he set his books down. 

Mina pondered for a moment, wondering if she should tell Hyunjin about her feelings towards Huening Kai. She was sure that she had a slight attraction towards Hyunjin and her feelings for Huening Kai are still there, stronger as ever. 

'I probably only liked Hyunjin because he was there to replace the void Huening Kai had left me.' Mina thought silently. 

She wanted to tell Hyunjin about what was on her mind but something in her told her that telling Hyunjin about this could lead to something even more complicated and dangerous. Akira's words of warning about him still remained in her mind.

"Don't be fooled by his innocent and goody two shoes demeanour. I know that you would think like he is not that type of guy to do this sort of stuff. He is only doing it because he likes you." 

"I am thinking about our first Art History class!" Mina uttered, internally patting herself on the back to be able to create a white lie in a short time. 

"Ah, I would be excited as well! I am more interested in knowing what history we are going to learn!" Hyunjin piped up as he nudged her arm playfully. 

"It will be fun to explore and gain more knowledge about Art History since it can enrich my mind." 

"True." Mina smiled as she unzipped her pencil case and took her blue gel pen, twirling it around her fingers elegantly.

Just then, a teacher dressed in a red floral dress, holding a thick book sauntered into the class. Mina and Hyunjin turned around to face the front as the teacher began to introduce herself. 

"Good morning, class! Well, there are not many people choose to take Art History! It's not surprisingly after all, this class is considered underrated among the students." The teacher said as she took her marker pen and wrote her name on the whiteboard. 

"My name is Miss Cheon Sofia! I am half Mexican and half Korean and I am a few years older than you so it's fine if you guys want to call me noona or unnie, alright? Not only that, I am majoring in Fine Arts at SNU." Miss Cheon said, smiling brightly as the students clapped enthusiastically for her. 

"How about we start our class with  a small introduction session by getting to know each other well  and you can say whatever you want us to know. Let's start with you!" Miss Cheon said as she pointed at Huening Kai who was sitting next to Sunoo. 

"Me?" He asked astonished as the teacher smiled. 

"Yes, you the tall handsome guy!" 

As if the teacher's word had a profound affect on Mina, her cheeks flushed a tint of pink as she paid attention to a certain tall raven haired boy who was sitting at the front of the class. 

"Ah, alright!" Huening Kai said, clapping and laughed as he stood up and winked playfully towards the class. 

"Hi, I am Huening Kai! I am 17 years old and taking Pure Commerce, majoring in Arts. I love making music and I aspire to be an artist one day!" 

"Woah, an artist! Does that mean you will give me a free front seat ticket in your concert or post me your signed CDs?" Miss Cheon smiled as she looked at Huening Kai who seemed to be flustered. 

Scratching the back of his neck, Huening Kai awkwardly laughed as the entire class has shifted their attention on him and whispered underneath their breath. 

"With his tremendous good look, there's no doubt he will shine as an idol!" One of the boys sitting at the front of Hyunjin whispered. 

Hyunjin groaned internally as he felt an irk mark formed on the side of his head. 

Huening Kai had never failed to make the people's attention to be on him all the time. 

As he turned to his side to take a look at Mina's face, he felt even more annoyed at Huening Kai than ever. She had a hand on her chin as she stared dreamily at the tall foreign boy with a faint tint of pink blush on her face. 

'I will be sure to steal the spotlight from him.' Hyunjin thought as the people in their class stood up one by one to introduce themselves and soon enough, it was Hyunjin's turn. 

"Hello, everyone. I am Hwang Hyunjin. My hobby is drawing and dancing. I am also a freelance model." 

"A model in our class! That's really amazing!" Miss Cheon chuckled as she clapped her hands together. 

"Huening Kai, don't you think that Hyunjin is really snobby?" Sunoo whispered as he glared at the tall male who stood up with a smug smile on his face. 

"Well... Uh..." Huening Kai chuckled awkwardly as he scratched the back of his head, not knowing what to say to defend his old friend. 

"How do you even stand him generally on a daily basis, considering the fact that  both of you are in the same school and same class?! " Sunoo huffed as he glared at Hyunjin. 

"I am used to it...?" Huening Kai said but his statement was more like a question. 

His seatmate only sat next to him, huffed and shook his head aggressively. 

"You did not just get used to it! He's mean!" Sunoo hissed as he continued to glare at Hyunjin who seemed to be looking at Mina with a look full of admiration. 

"Hi, everyone! I am Yang Mina. I am studying Pure Commerce and majoring in Accounting. I enjoy painting and reading up on Art History during my free time." Mina smiled, introducing herself. 

"Mina, I am glad that someone has shared the mutual interest with me!" The teacher smiled as she clapped her hands. 

"Well, since everyone has done introducing themselves, let's begin with the lesson! Flip open to page 3 at your textbook! Today, we are learning about each era of the Art History!" 

The class soon lapsed back into silence as they paid attention to their teacher who began to explain. Mina who seemed to be trouble earlier seemed to be even more peaceful as she began to immerse in the lesson. 

As always, Art History has been her perfect distraction from her current troubles and ease her soul.
