Chapter 19: Bachelor-Bachelorette Party Part 2

Violetta's (POV)
Leon's birthday was a bust. He enjoyed laying around in bed the entire day. We didn't have a party, we didn't have anything, but he was happy. Even after his birthday, he was acting strangely. He has been wanting to spend so much time with me lately, and as much as I love it... I need my space, especially since I'll be spending the rest of my life with him. Today was his bachelor and my bachelorette party, well the second one. The boys said they were going to go to some elite club, and us girls decided to stay in and have a party here at our place.

Leon: Call me if you need anything, okay?

Violetta: I will, now go enjoy yourself. Just not too much, if you're still planning on marrying me next week!

Leon: I won't go near the girls, so don't you worry. I love you!

Violetta: And I love you. Be careful, alright. Bye!

He kissed me on the cheek, and they all left. I closed the door and all the girls stared at me waiting to ask questions.

Francesca: Tell us everything! It's been over a month since we last saw you, so what's going on!

Violetta: What do you mean? Leon always said you guys were too busy, so we couldn't go out together. So, the real question is, what have you girls been up to during this past month?

Ludmila: Are you sure he said that to you, Vilu?

Violetta: Yes, why? He told me you all were too busy to go out.

The girls all looked at each other with shocked expressions.

Camila: There's something not right with what you are saying...

Violetta: What do you mean? What are you not telling me here?

Francesca: Leon told all of us that you guys have been getting everything ready for the wedding and the honeymoon.

Naty: Yeah, he told us you guys needed space to figure the wedding stuff out on your own.

Violetta: Can't be because we did absolutely nothing but relax.

Camila: There must be some kind of mistake. Why wouldn't he want us to hang out with each other?

Violetta: He has been acting differently. He's been too affectionate, and he wants us to do everything together. He isn't usually like this.

Naty: Don't you think it's maybe because he is scared that you might get hurt again as 'M.G' is still on the loose?

Violetta: That could be it, but still. Whatever his intentions are, it needs to stop. I might be his fiancée, but I'm not his doll.

Camila: Before you call or message him, rather first calm down and then talk to him about it tomorrow morning when he is sober.

Violetta: Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry, let's enjoy ourselves tonight.

We then started talking about random things, laughing at each other's stories until we were interrupted by Francesca's phone.

Francesca's (POV)
I wasn't sure why Diego called so suddenly, but I couldn't answer because it was Violetta's night.

Francesca: It's Diego, but let's just turn this off.

Violetta: No, you can answer it, it's okay. I really don't mind.

Francesca: Alright then.

Diego on the phone with Francesca

Diego: Hey, my love. How are you guys doing?

Francesca: Hey, we're doing great, are you all okay?

Diego: Well yeah, you could say that...

Francesca: Why do you say that? What's wrong?

Diego: Can you please put the phone on speaker.

Francesca: Yeah sure, give me one second.

Violetta's (POV)
I didn't know why Diego wanted to talk to all of us, he should be with the guys partying. It clearly had to be important.

Francesca: Okay, you're on speaker. The girls are all here.

Diego: Great, Violetta... There's a bit of a problem.

Violetta: What's wrong?

Diego: It's Leon, we can't find him anywhere. He was acting weird the whole night and he wasn't even drinking. We tried calling him, but his phone just kept ringing. He said he was going to the bathroom, but he didn't come back. It's been over 30 minutes since we last saw him.

Violetta: Okay first, calm down. Send Fran your location and then I'll come look for him.

Camila: No, we'll all come!

Bridget: Like a scavenger hunt?

Naty: No Bridgit! We're on our way!

Diego: Wait, I see him! He's with a... a girl?

Violetta: What? Who? Who's the girl?

Diego: I don't know, never seen her before.

Violetta: Let me see!!! Send me a picture!

Diego: Let me change this to a video call rather.

He changed it to a video call, and I saw Leon laughing and smiling at a really gorgeous woman. I kept thinking, "Leon would never cheat on me, he loves me, and I love him. They're probably just friends."

Violetta: Diego, do me a favour please and go and give the phone to him. I need to have a word with him for a moment.

He did what I asked of him and Leon took the phone.

Leon: Hey, Vilu. Is everything alright?

Violetta: Where were you? The guys were looking all over for you! I was starting to get worried, who are you with?

Leon: I'm fine, I was here all the time. I'm just with a friend. Look I have to go now, bye!

Violetta: Alright enjoy, I...

And then he hung up. This wasn't like him at all. Firstly, he would've said "Hey, my love", and secondly, he would never cut me off so quickly if he wasn't hiding something. I have no idea what to do now.

Bridgit: Was it just me or how he was acting wasn't normal, right?

Ludmila: No, it was all of us... What are you going to do now, Vilu?

Violetta: Let's just wait until they come back, then we'll find out everything. For now, let's have fun!

We all tried to brush aside what had occurred, but it was difficult. They said that they would be back at 1, but it's only 12. Time went slowly during that last hour and I was getting impatient.

Francesca: Vilu relax, they'll be here soon. Have some more drinks to calm those nerves.

Violetta: I want to be as sane as I possibly can, so I'll have later.

Bridgit: What happened to the scavenger hunt?

Naty: This is all too much, I'll drink on her behalf.

Camila: I second that. Pass me on the glasses please!

Ludmila: Just remember Vilu, when he gets here, don't attack him. Let him explain everything because otherwise it'll turn into a disaster.
