In this forest where our promise lies,
the truth is left behind.
Running in the forest, barefoot
with nothing but Harry to keep me company.
Everyone thinks we're dead,
we are the only two that know.
We laugh, smile, cry and joke around together
our love for each other is bound that'll stay with us forever.
We trust each other, we owe each other our lives,
With us in the forest, the thick mossy rocks and trees now take in the promise that lies.
Voldemort keeps appearing in my dreams,
like he's still alive, trying to chase me back into his trap.
I don't believe it anymore, because Harry is here.
Harry helps me with my night terrors with Voldemort, Mother, and Father.
We understand the pain we've dealt with,
the forest understands, lady magic understands.
In this forest where our promise lies,
the truth is left behind.
We don't know all of each other's secrets,
the forest already knows that.
We promise and beg to never suffer on our own,
but in this field, we have found, they have made our souls sold.
Anger, hate, and frustration are filled within us now
all the love from the past has been removed from our minds now.
We ran away to fill the love we have for each other with hope,
but this makes me feel hopeless.
