A blind stare

Okay, so I know this is supposed to be dark Percy, but I'm expanding to dark demigods in general. Nice.

Also, this one is just after the whole Tartarus thing. Imagine that Percy and Annabeth arrive outside the house of Hades right after Hazel and the others defeated Klythios. Reyna and Nico is there too. Hedge is on the ship.

The door went up with a loud ding. Two teenagers stumbled out and collapsed on top of each other.

The one in the top was a tan and muscular boy. He had raven, unruly hair and his clothes were torn into shreds.

The other was a girl. She had honey blonde hair that was soaken in blood, burned and generally messy. She had bruises everywhere and was breathing heavily because of the boy on her back.

"Percy! Annabeth!" Jason cried out. He and the other teens ran to their side, not really knowing what to do.

The boy, Percy, removed himself from his girlfriend. He took her hand and helped her up.

No one knew how to handle the situation. It would feel weird celebrating. The couple clung to each other, Annabeth's head turned away from the rest, but Percy's eyes looked broken.

He seemed wary, like someone might attack him or Annabeth. Like he didn't trust them, even though they were friends.

"We need to get you to the medical bay," Piper stated. She reached out to touch Annabeth's shoulder, but Percy jerked away.

"Don't touch her!" He said, his eyes jumping from person to person like a wild animal.

Jason stepped slowly towards them with his hands raised, as if approaching a startled deer.

"We are your friends, Percy. We can help. All you have to do is trust us."

Percy narrowed his eyes and backed a little further.

"You can trust us," Piper continued, her voice sweet and calm. The charm speak filled the air and Annabeth and Percy relaxed a little.

"It's okay, Percy," Annabeth whispered, "Piper, is that you?"

The kids looked in horror as she turned around.

It was not the ripped clothes or many wounds that made them gasp. It was the eyes. Milky white and blind eyes.

A moment no one said anything. They could only stare at their friend. Then Piper spoke up again.

"Yes," she croaked, having troubles getting the words out, "what - what happened?"

Percy's eyes grew darker. He looked at Leo as he said: "Calypso," with venom in his voice.

"No," Leo whispered. His hands shook and he dropped something metalic into the grass.

"No, Calypso couldn't do that. She wouldn't."

One of Percy's hands found his pocket, and everyone knew he was holding tight on to Riptide.

"She did.  Her curse blinded Annabeth."

Nico stepped in. "We'll figure this out later. Piper is right. We need to determine if there is any other damage done that we can fix."

"We're not going anywhere. You want to know what happened? I'll tell you what happened," Percy said, "Down there, there's thousands of monsters called the Arai! They each carry a curse, that will be unleashed if you kill them."

Leo just stared in utter shock, not being able to stop shaking. Hazel laid her arm around his shoulders in an attempt to comfort him.

"Every curse any person or monster have wished upon you," Percy repeated, "and this is Calypso's fault!"
