episode 2- new beginnings

warning this story depicts self-harm bullying eating disorders and thoughts/attempts of suicide

"y/n!! you're going to be late you doof" my dad saying yelling to me I get up out of my best and open my blinds, up and adam my baby's time to get started! I get my plant mister and walk over to my collection of plants, I mist them carefully and place them on my window seal, I crack it a little and let them get some air, I walk over to where my rabbit lives and greet her with a carrot. "be good today Lila I have to go to the store and pick up some stuff for offerings" I walk over to where my alters are I light a sage incense for reach of them to hold them over until I get back with their favorite gifts

I go to my closet and pick out a pair of black jeans that have a few bleach stains and holes in them, a black shirt with a jean jacket to go over top of it here is your visual- yes this draw by me :3

I grabbed a granola bar that was sitting on the kitchen table where my dad sat trying to figure out how to make his latest invention, he made support items for heroes, he said he would help make my outfit

"I'm off dad gtg get offerings!" I grabbed a 20 out of his wallet and walked out the door

as I walked down the street I couldn't help but notice it was really nice out, the sun was out and birds were flying around and singing, I could hear the playful tones of children having fun in the distance. I swear I saw a dove. the first thing I thought about was aphrodite, "she's watching:)" I said and I smiled. I didn't like showing my body since I was little and still had my baby weight, I would be told to starve myself because I was fat.

that stuck with me so everyone still thought I was, in all reality, I knew I wasn't but the constant fear of being too fat said I was, I was learning how to love myself with the help of aphrodite, so I was coming out of my shell but I was a long way away from accepting myself..

it was almost time for the entrance exam for ua.. i was getting more nervouse as it came closer.. no matter what i felt like i wasnt going to be good enough.. something told me i wasnt good wnough to be a hero,, that i wasnt even good enough to live

while i was spaced out deep in thought i bumped into someone "oh my- im so sorry forgive me please" i said bowing to them "hey its okay! its a honor to be bumped into mysomeone as smoking as you" he giggle, he had yellow hair with a lightnight bolt is it "you're funny" i added "where you off to mamas cant let you walk out here alone" he said i could tell he was being playful especially when he said 'mamas' "thanks, im on my way to the super market" "oh for real? me too!" we began walking and my big ass mouth with no filter said "whats your quirk, you look like pikachu*i paused* i am so sorry i get nervous when im around people, please forgi-" "hey its okay, my names denki, denki kaminari. my quirk is electricty" he stated proudly "and you?" he asked "oh im y/n, y/n l/n but just call me y/n! my quirk is called spiritual, if you want we can grab a bite after this and i can tel you all about it!" did i seriously just ask a stranger out on a date..?

"I would be honored your majesty" he bowed down sarcastically and I giggled, as we neared up on the supermarket I went in and looked for aphrodites favorite things, then iris, then hades, then Poseidon.. I worked with a lot of gods.. I checked out and Denki helped me carry it back to my house..

"crap, do you just want to stay over here, I have to talk to my dieties and make dinner" I sigh realizing he won't want to stay during all this boring stuff I have to do "deities..?" he questioned "oh right paganism isnt well known anymore follow me to my room ill show you"

Denki pov-

*thoughts* YES I JUST GOT INVITED TO A GIRLS ROOM YESYESYEYSYESYYES

y/n pov-

"okay this is my room me and my family practice paganism otherwise known as witchcraft" I say opening my door "WOAHHHH WITCHCRAFT YOUR A WITCH??" he exclaims genuinely interested "uhh yeah, pretty boring tbh"

"nuh uhhhh, you're a witch! that is so epic!" he got so excited little electricity bolts shot out of his hands

"well these are my altars, this one is for aphrodite, this one is for iris, this one is for hades, this one is for Poseidon..." I showed him all my altars "so you talk to your god through this thing??"

"pretty much Pikachu" I joked. he laughed "I want to watch you talk to them!!! omg its probably so coooolllllll!" he sounded so astonished

I let him watch as I pulled tarot cards and gave my gods offerings he just watched in awe

-time skip-

I finally was allowed to put out my deities candles and I said thank you and bowed to them.. "okay let go make dinner, ill explain my quirk over dinner, my dad should be home in about an hour, just enough time to finish dinner

3rd person pov-

Denki and y/n cooked and played music for an hour before it was all done they placed the food on the table and prepared for y/n's father to come home " you sure it's cool if I stay here? you dad won't get mad?" he asked "No I'm antisocial so he will just be glad I brought someone home, he will probably tell you to treat me right since your a guy, but other than that he will just ask if you need any support items.

"y/n! I'm homeee! I got some new crystals you wanna see?" my dad shouts from the living room closing the door behind him

"did you get and rose quartz aphrodite and I had a disagreement.. on something.. I want to say sorry!!" I yell back

"oh really what did you ha-" he stops midsentence to a very awkward looking Denki

"hello sir l/n invited me over for dinner, I hope thats okay!" he was being so formal, no one calls me by my last name

"oh please stop with the formalities anyone n/n brings home is apart of the family! now now, sit down and tell me about your quirk id love to make you some support items"

~dinner passes, Denki is very surprised with my cooking.~

"here have my number! id love to stay in touch! but I have to study, the entrance exam is tomorrow" I say wiping off the table

"oh no way mine is tomorrow too! you going to ua??"

"yes oh my gawdd!!!!"

we "eek" together like a bunch of schoolgirls who just saw ~josh~ walk down the hall(think of josh is the preppy football player every girl likes-author)

"okay well then yeah ill text you later! thank you for dinner!" Denki says walking towards the door

"see ya tomorrow!" I smile

im going to try and make each chapter pretty long so its not short like a lot of my other stories. my first mha fanfic :) enjoy!
