I've finally gotten the motivation to write another fanfic again. Let's do this. I just wasn't really feeling it with my other stories but this! Oh man this is here to stay y'all. If you find any typos you know the drill!!! Comment and I'll fix it :) Enjoy!!!

Annabeth felt her heart beating loudly over the soft music of the small dance studio. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek ballet bun. She rose from the ground through her pointe shoes. The rest of the few others in her class weren't as invested as Annabeth was. As soon as graduation came in a few months she was out of this dump. Sure the whole small town, close community thing was nice but she wanted out. She wanted a big bustling city, somewhere that she would have to prove herself in, and wasn't just already known. After her early morning ballet class finished she slipped on some sweatpants over her pink tights and leotard. She planned to walk to the one coffee shop just a couple of blocks down. She was meeting her best friend, Percy there. Most people think going out in public in ballet attire was embarrassing. To everyone in the town, they were used to seeing Annabeth all decked out. Once after an out-of-town recital, Annabeth came back still in costume and stage makeup, everyone acted as if it were normal. She untied her pink satin pointe shoes and got into some comfortable sneakers to walk in. She exited the small dance studio which was starting to fall apart. Annabeth didn't blame the owners though. They barely had any students. Annabeth probably paid the most for classes. She had ballet classes every day, and an extra private lesson every other Saturday.  As she walked some people passing by said hello and she waved back. She knew every one by heart. The high school only had good 100 students. Annabeth knew most of the people around her age and only some of the younger ones . When she got to the coffee shop she spotted Percy instantly. He wasn't hard to miss. With his messy black hair which was always tucked under a backward baseball cap. His sea-green eyes, and that troublemaker smile Annabeth had seen way too many times in her time knowing him. He was sitting at a table outside with some headphones and his feet playing with his skateboard.

Annabeth walked over and Percy noticed how a shadow covered his phone.

"Hey! How was class?" He asked, taking out an earbud to listen.

Annabeth pulled out the chair and sat down.

"Same as always... I can't wait to get out of here." She rested her head in her hand and Percy let out a small smile.

"New York on your mind?" Percy knew how much Annabeth just wanted to get out and go. He liked the small town. He felt like he belonged. Before moving here he lived in Manhattan. He was kicked out of so many schools it was nice for him to finally fit in somewhere.

"All the time now!!!!" Annabeth groaned, "I can't wait till graduation."

"You and me both, Wise Girl." Percy grinned, calling her the nickname he's said since they were 12.

"Ah shut it, Seaweed Brain." She slapped Percy playfully in the arm.

"C'mon we can go hang at your place." Percy offered his hand out. Annabeth smiled and rolled her eyes, she grabbed his hand and he pulled her up.

They walked back to Annabeth's house together. Normally they would talk about random things but today they were just silent. The wind blew some flyaway hair out of her perfectly done ballet bun. Percy's messy har just flopped in the wind. Once he let Annabeth try and fix it but she had to admit that it looked better left alone. Annabeth unlocked the door and the pair sat on the living room couch.

"So I learned how to do a heelflip, wanna see?!" Percy was excited and Annabeth just laughed. He looked like a two-year-old waiting for birthday presents. He set down his skateboard and got ready to do the trick.
