Chapter 2: Flashback

Julie enters her room and grabs her notebook. She then has a flashback to when she was in dance class.

I walk into the gym and stand next to Nick. The teacher than starts the music and we start to dance. While we are dancing I cant stop thinking about Luke. It feels like he is here with me. I than turn my head away from Nick and get drawn to the mirror where I see Luke stepping  through.

We look at each other intensely. My hand goes through his but I try again but my hands go through his hands again.This time he gives me a reassuring look that makes me believe so I try again and it feels like we have become one. I embrace myself into his hands and feel like I have been awaken.

We push our hands against each other and push away to opposite sides. He makes his way back to me and puts his hands on my waist and we  do our dance in perfect harmony. PERFECT HARMONY THATS THE PERFECT NAME FOR THE SONG.

I know I was dancing with Nick but it did not feel like I was dancing with him. It felt like I was dancing with Luke and I did not want that moment to end.

I have never felt this way for a person before. It scares me but I also like this feeling. I can be myself around LUKE and I cant say that about people usually.

Luke spins me away and I come out of my day dream and land in Nicks hands.

Nick (giggles) "Uhh wow we nailed that! Thanks partner!"
Julie (puzzled) "Yeah."
————END OF FLASHBACK———-

Julie smiles at the thought and writes a note behind the lyrics and than tears the pages out of her notebook. She thinks twice before she puts it in her dream box because Luke could snoop through and find it but she gives in and places it in the dream box anyway.  Julie puts her box back on her shelf and then goes into her bathroom and gets ready for bed. She comes back into her room and turns her light off and goes to sleep.
