—————— NEXT DAY ——————- JULIE POV I wake up the next day pretty bummed because the first thing i think about is how Luke did not ask me to be his girlfriend. I know its soon but we have been friends for some time and i don't think it would be bad if he asked me to be his girlfriend after just one date. With that thought i start to think about the date and how much fun i had. Even though i was bummed about him not asking i did enjoy the date he had planned out. No one had ever gone out of their way like that for me before. If Luke wants to take it slow I'm okay with that. I don't want to rush into anything if he is not comfortable. I stay in bed for a little bit more and then decide it is time to get out of bed. I put light makeup on and did my hair and got dressed.

I head downstairs and my dad is waiting for me. As i walk into the kitchen i see Luke their also. I smile at him and he gives me a sly smile back Ray "Okay!! Since you are both here now! Here is your list of chores!" I grab the list and look it over. It doesn't look like its that much so that's good. Julie "Okay thanks dad!" Ray "Okay see you guys in 4 hours! Hey Julie I'm going to go pick up your brother from the airport!" Julie I put on a fake smile "Okay dad bye!" and my dad walks away. As soon as he leaves i realized i totally forgot that my brother was not here. He went on a school trip with his school for like 2 weeks and i was surprised dad let him go but I'm glad he is back! As realization dawns back on to me i notice their is an awkward silence between me and Luke that can be cut with a knife. Luke "So should we get started!" Julie "yes! Here is the list!" I see Luke look over the list Luke "Their is 10 things on the list so we each do 5?!?" Julie "Yes! I can do the dishes, the bathroom, the counters, the laundry, and the sweeping/mopping! If thats okay with you!" Luke "Yeah thats okay with me. So ill do the other five which is vacuuming, taking the garbage out, washing the car, changing the light bulbs, and cleaning up the room.!" I nods my head Julie "Lets get started!" ——————4 hours later——————— I finish up my last chore and at the same time i see Luke has finished too. I throw my self onto the couch from the exhaustion. Luke also throws himself onto the floor from exhaustion. Luke " Glad we are finally done! But it was worth it!" Julie smiles "Yeah!!" LUKES POV I can still tell their is a tension between me and Julie. And right their and then i was to tell her everything. Luke "Julie..." Julie looks at me "Yes Luke?!?" Luke "..." The door opens.... Me and Julie look at the door and her dad and brother walk in at this moment and our 'moment' is over. I see Julie get up and walk to the door. Its cute how exited she gets with her family it warms my heart. JULIES POV "Yes Luke?!?" Luke "..." I hear the door open. I get up and walk to the door. I see my dad and brother walk in. I smile and run up and hug my brother. Carlos "Eww gross!" I laugh "Miss you too bro!" He laughs and hugs me back. Julie "Did you get me a souvenir!" Carlos "Maybe!" I smile and playfully shove his shoulder. Julie "Dad we finished our chores!" Ray "Okay sweetie! You guys can go have fun now!" Julie "See you later Carlos!" I kiss Carlos on the cheek and wait for it Carlos "Yuck!" I laugh and walk out the door with Luke! Julie "So Luke what was it that you wanted to tell me when we were in their before we got interrupted?" I can see Luke hesitate and say Luke "Oh it was nothing! But what i do want to ask now is would you want to go on another date with me!" Im shocked because i could tell their was something else he wanted to tell me but i wasn't going to pressure him. Julie "Yes i would!!" Luke "Great!! Im taking you to the beach and were gonna have a picnic tomorrow after school." I smile "Sounds like a plan!" We walk into the garage and Alex says "How was cleaning duty?" Me and Luke look at each other Julie sarcastically "Fantastic!" Luke laughs "Totally amazing!" We all laugh Reggie "So whens your guys next date?!?" Alex shoves Reggie in the side and he groans from pain Julie/Luke "Tomorrow after school!" Alex and Reggie look at each other in shock but then smile Reggie "Yay!!" We all laugh at Reggies excitement. ———— ———NEXT DAY —————— I wake up and get ready for school. My brother than walks into my room. Julie "May i help you!" Carlos "Just wanted to give you this t-shirt i got you from New York!" Julie "Aww thank you i love it!" (this is the shirt)
