Psychic connections: Toritsuka x Saiki

Chapter 7

Saiki was shocked, he didn't know how to respond to her comment.
When Saiki began to think about it, he didn't know what Toritsuka was to him.
Or what his feelings were.
Saiki played it cool.

-Nothing. He's got a girlfriend.

Saiki knew he was lying, he wanted rid of the other.
But didn't want any of her fans to come after him, they were most definitely the worst

-Oh really? That's good for him!

Teruhashi was pleased, but also a little suspicious.
She passed yesterday's events off as an issue because they were sick.
Nothing else.
Teruhashi walked back into class, smiling again to everyone.

The two didn't know that Toritsuka could hear all of this.
Toritsuka sighed, knowing he did this to himself by dating a random girl he barely knew.
But there was no need for Saiki to lie.

Maybe he should make Saiki happy, and actually have a girlfriend.
Then he wouldn't have to lie.

The medium called her.
The first call went straight to voicemail, and the second one, she picked up.
Silence.
His ex-girlfriend spoke first, breaking the awkward silence.

-Hey! How are you?

She acted as if nothing happened.
It threw the other off slightly, but still continued on with the conversation, at this point he was desperate.

-i'm alright, do you want to go on a date tomorrow?

-Yes definitely!

Toritsuka had a bad feeling about this, but chose to ignore it anyway.
Saiki who had taken off his ring, due to the fact Teruhashi had calmed down.
He could hear Toritsuka's worried thoughts.
Saiki chose to ignore him, roughly shoving the ring back on.
He was very knowing that he would be jealous, and would get angry.

The psychic walked back into the class, trying not to draw attention to himself.
One boy in the back yelled "Saiki!".
Alerting Toritsuka of his whereabouts.
Toritsuka rushed towards Saiki's classroom to see it looking normal, everyone was in their respective groups.
Sat where they usually do.

Even Saiki was normal right now.
This made Toritsuka suspicious, but chose to ignore it.
The young medium returned to his class and continued on through the day.

As lunch time approached, Saiki and Toritsuka made their way up to the roof.
Saiki was confused, he hated toritsukas ex- girlfriend, he got rid of her once.
And he's going to do it once again.
The pink haired boy hated to do this, but used his powers for his own selfish needs.
Saiki used mind control to convince him he didn't have a date tomorrow.

The ghost surrounding them, were clearly confused.
Toritsuka noticed how out of control they were.
After a few minutes of convincing them, they all agreed he was alright.

The two began to eat, Toritsuka ate messily.
He had crumbs on his face.
Saiki turned his head to face Toritsuka and gently grabbed the side of the other boys face.
He wiped off the crumbs, staring into the boys eyes.
They stayed like that for what seemed like hours, Toritsuka would occasionally look away with a bright blush on his face.
While Saiki held a smug grin.

As the bell rang, signalling for last lesson, the two got up.
While walking down the stairs, Toritsuka avoided eye contact.

-Saiki.. Would you like to go out with me tomorrow..

Toritsuka realised what he said, quickly speaking again, trying to save himself from being embarrassed.

-Uhh cause a new comic store opened up! and i- uh- heard there's lots of new stuff..

-Sure.

Saiki's plan was working.
He was going to show that smug woman to leave Toritsuka alone.
Saiki smiled before walking into his room.
He left a confused Toritsuka alone.
The medium knew that something was missing, a part of the day he couldn't remember.

Yet still, he brushed it off.

When the day ended, Toritsuka clung onto Saiki, he was extremely excited for what he called a date tomorrow.
Toritsuka hugged Saiki's arm and gave a bright smile.

When Saiki was outside his house he smiled at the other.
Toritsuka took slightly on his tip toes, and gave Saiki a quick kiss on the cheek.
Even though he has a 'girlfriend' -or atleast according to Saiki- the medium couldn't shake off the feelings he had Saiki.

Toritsuka quickly ran off, he was a blushing mess.
Saiki was the same, he wasn't expecting the other boy to do that.
Saiki rushed inside, still blushing.
His mother welcomed him home, noticing the red tinge to his cheeks.
She gave a smug smile, knowing something happened.

He locked himself in his room, a smiling mess.
Saiki fell asleep, excited for tomorrow.

Toritsuka who has arrived home by this time,  still was confused about this afternoon.
He felt something was off.
His phone dinged, it was his ex-girlfriend,yet she was still saved as 'Yuki❤️'

'I can't wait to see you tomorrow~'

-See me tomorrow?

Toritsuka quickly figured out what happened, or so he thought.
The medium chose to still hang out with Saiki tomorrow, wanting to see what would happen between the two.
His eyes begun to get heavy.
The medium fell asleep on the couch, with two blankets sat on top of him.

His little snores filled the quiet room.
While the other boy awoke, curious on what his friend was doing, Saiki wanted a conversation.
A serious one.
Then the psychic teleported into the sleeping boys room.
His room was full of 18+ magazines, but there were many in the bin.
Saiki observed the room.

His eyes fell back on the sleeping boy.
Saiki knelt down besides him, getting closer.
He gently brushed his hand across Toritsukas face, removing the strands which were on his face.
Toritsuka moved a little, causing Saiki to jump.

Saiki quickly teleported home, and went back to sleep.

By the time it was morning, both of the boys were excited.
They had the whole day to themself.
Since it was a Saturday, Saiki and Toritsuka chose to meet up early.
First they went to the park, this was the start of Saiki's plan.

As the two were at the park, Yuki was also there.
She was sat on the bench, Saiki wrapped his arm around Toritsuka.
He sent a telepathic message to her, telling her what direction to look in.

She instantly scowled.
She was jealous, Saiki gave a smug grin.
Saiki knew he had a leverage over her, he turned his head to face her.
He gave a very smug grin, as well as evil eyes.
She glared at him.

They had both known, she lost, and Saiki won.

Toritsuka quickly looked over, he saw Yuki, slightly confused as to why she was here.
The boy confirmed in his head, he knew what Saiki was planning.
Saiki was shocked, he wasn't sure if Toritsuka really knew what he was up to.

Yuki approached the two, clinging onto Toritsuka and his money.
She was not going to let some homosexual win so easily, no way.
She gave a fake smile, glaring Saiki in the process.

-Hi my love Toritsuka!

Saiki remained silent, giving the girl a warning frown.
Toritsuka gave a small smile.
He knew that Saiki was jealous, and it made him chuckle.
While Saiki gave a death stare, he knew what she was after.
