Chapter (70) The cold heart is melting

Taehyung: "Thank you so much Bogum Hyung!"

Jungkook: "Thank you Hyung."

Bogum: "I wanna send you guys right to your house but the street is quite narrow and not so ok with the bus. Catch up with you guys later, alright? Taehyung-ah, think about what Hyung has suggested, ok?"

Taehyung nods with a big smile, holding the puppy in his hands. Then the bus leaves and the two boys stroll into the street.

Jungkook: "Is he still shivering?"

Jungkook looks at the puppy worriedly and asks. Taehyung also checks and replies,

Taehyung: "No. After eating crackers on the bus, it's so quiet now."

Jungkook: "Hope Hyungs don't get mad at us... *sighs*..."

Taehyung: "I don't think so. I'm sure Hyungs will love this cutie..."

Taehyung says looking at the puppy with a big smile. Jungkook sees the smile on Taehyung face and so he doesn't reply anymore on the topic.

Jimin comes out of the shower after his dance practice. He looks at the clock and gets his phone.

*to Taehyung: Where are you guys? Need a hand? Let me know.....*

*to Yoongi Hyung: Yoongi Hyung, are you ending your shift soon? We will save dinner for you, Hyung. Fighting! :)*

*to Hoseok Hyung: Hoseok Hyung, Taehyung and Jungkook are not back yet. I'll message once they are back with dinner. XD*

Jimin puts the phone down after sending the messages to the others. Then, he hears the main door opening. So he runs to the door to open and,

Jimin: "Jungkook... Taehyungie... wh.... what's..... is that a PUPPY?!?"

Taehyung smiles big to his best friend as he enters the house.

Taehyung: "Yeah, isn't he so cute? We found him in the bush by the bus stop and so we brought him here. You don't think Hyungs will mind, right?"

Jimin looks at his friend while patting the puppy gently.

Jimin: "Yeah, don't think so....."

Jungkook: "I can go out again to buy dinner. Or do you wanna get the delivery?"

Jimin: "I can go and buy. Save the delivery fee. What are we having though?"

Taehyung: "Mmmm..... chicken?"

Jungkook: "There's promo at the fried chicken place on the main road."

Jimin: "Then we could get from there."

Jungkook: "I can go now."

Jimin: "I can come along with you. Taehyungie, you just settle the puppy first. Tomorrow is weekend and so maybe we can bring... him?"

Taehyung nods with a giggle.

Jimin: "HIM... to the vet."

Taehyung: "Okay, let me just find a towel and a carton box for him. You guys just go ahead. Thank you!"

Jungkook looks at Taehyung with a soft smile and follows Jimin out to buy dinner.

Jungkook and Jimin leave the house and walk along the street towards the main road. The fried chicken place is only about 20 minute walk.

Jimin looks at Jungkook who's smiling since he sees him.

Jimin: "So I suppose everything went well?"
