Chapter (32) Call out for a date

Namjoon opens the door for Taehyung and Jungkook as he hears them.

Namjoon: "Hey Guys. You are back. Shall I give a hand for the boxes?"

Taehyung: "Tsk tsk. Are you alright Jungkook-ah? Yes, Namjoon Hyung? Yeah Jiminie is carrying them but still some are left on the street."

Namjoon eyes follow Taehyung's hand gesturing to the street and then back to Jungkook's head being busy.

Namjoon: "Ok, I'll go and carry them. What happened to Jungkook?"

Jungkook: "I'm alright Hyung. I just got up from the car seat in a hurry when we reached and hurt my head pretty hard. Hee."

Namjoon: "Welcome to my world Jungkook-shi! You guys just rest here. I'll go give a hand to Jimin."

As said, Namjoon runs out to help Jimin.

Jimin: "Only left with this luggage Hyung. I've moved the others."

Namjoon drags the large luggage and follows Jimin into the house.

Jungkook: "Thank you so much Jimin Hyung and Namjoon Hyung. I'm already ok Taehyung Hyung. Don't worry."

Taehyung who's trying to cover the bump on Jungkook's head with a warm towel to soothe the swelling, pouts.

Taehyung: "Fine then."

Once said, Taehyung goes off with the warm towel in his hand and left Jungkook and Namjoon hanging. Jimin who has known Taehyung for years, shakes his head slowly and then taps Jungkook, and says,

Jimin: "Good Luck Jungkook-shi."

Jungkook face gets blacken by Jimin's comment and he looks over at where Taehyung is.

Namjoon: "He's just taking care of you, Jungkook. Just show your gratitude and appreciation to him. Although you are fine, may be it's different in his point of view with his threshold, right?"

Namjoon gives up after seeing Jungkook in confusion who couldn't comprehend what he just said.

Seokjin: "Eh? Done? I thought you said Jungkook got a bump on his head. The towel is not warm enough? Let me see."

Seokjin questions Taehyung who comes back beside him with a small towel. Hoseok who's helping Seokjin preparing for dinner also approaches in curiosity. As Taehyung washes the towel under the running water, he softly says

Taehyung: "I forgot that Jungkook really doesn't need me to care him. He's fine by himself too. I'm just being over protective and making him uncomfortable."

Hoseok and Seokjin who clearly knows Jungkook's feelings for Taehyung exchange looks.

Hoseok: "Why? What did he say?"

Taehyung: "He said he's fine. He said he's alright."

Seokjin: "I think he just doesn't want to burden you, Taehyung-ah. He even had a fight with the street gangsters and so of course this small bump won't bother him. But I'm sure he appreciates you for taking care of him."

Taehyung: "Right? Hopefully."

Jungkook walks over hesitantly to Taehyung and once Hoseok sees that,

Hoseok: "Ah, Seokjin Hyung, shall we move the table over now so that we can get all the dishes?"

Seokjin gets Hoseok signal and so follows to give the youngest two some space.

Hoseok and Seokjin eyes to Taehyung while they passes Jungkook. The maknae looks at them with a guilty face and nods. Jungkook slowly approaches Taehyung to check on him. Taehyung face is just so blank that Jungkook couldn't get what's going on. So Jungkook just starts the conversation at his best.
