Chapter (78) Laughing and hurting

Jimin gets up around the normal time after a good sleep.

Taehyung: "Feeling good? You gonna do well today and also tomorrow. Don't worry much. Okie? Let's have breakfast and then head out."

Taehyung comes to his best friend in the kitchen after he washes up.

Jungkook: "I am making pancakes. How many do you want Hyung?"

Jungkook who's busy with Hoseok near the stove, asks Jimin.

Jimin: "Hmm.... May be 2. Thanks Jungkook-ah."

Hoseok: "Here's for you. Eat while they are hot. You will be alright, Jimin-ah."

Hoseok puts down the plate in front of Jimin and says with a bright smile. Jimin replies with a soft smile and picks up the fork to get a bite from the fluffy pancake.

Jungkook and Hoseok also come with the pancakes after a while and sit down around.

Jungkook: "Taehyungie Hyung, you want the strawberry jam, right?"

Taehyung nods like a puppy cutely. Jungkook giggles and brings the jam from the fridge. He stands beside Taehyung, opens the container, scoops the jam carefully onto pancakes for Taehyung and pushes the plate to Taehyung.

All along Taehyung was just holding the fork and waiting patiently with a wide smile looking at Jungkook preparing the food for him. Hoseok and Jimin are also looking all along and then naturally their eyes meet and start chuckling. Taehyung takes a bite and looks at Hoseok and Jimin with big eyes.

Taehyung: "Keke... why..? Why are you guys laughing?"

Jimin and Hoseok shake heads.

Hoseok: "Nothing nothing. Just happy to see you and Jungkook getting along so well. *sighs* before you guys are together, I've always worried either Jungkook or Taehyung might fall out and grow further. But yeah, they are just meant to be together."

Jimin softly smiles.

Taehyung: "Yeah, now I don't dare to think of my life without Kookie."

Jungkook: "You don't need to. I'm not going anywhere."

Jungkook says as he sits down beside Taehyung.

Hoseok: "Aigoo.... Aigoo... Aigoo.... I can't take it.... Aigoo...."

Hoseok gets up and leaves once he finishes his pancake. The younger three giggle looking at their Hyung.

Taehyung: "Jimin, what time is the rehearsal? Shall we drop by?"

Jimin: "It's around noon. But it's closed-door. So it's ok."

Jungkook: "What about the actual day?"

Jimin: "Same. It's closed-door. Just do whatever you guys have to do. I'll update in the group chat once the result is out anyway."

Taehyung pouts with a sad face. Jimin looks at Taehyung and sighs softly. Taehyung has always been there for him, for all his previous performances/audition. But this time really can't be helped. Jungkook puts his hand on Taehyung's shoulder as he can see Taehyung sulking. Jimin looks at Jungkook and signals to do something to make Taehyung feel better.

Jungkook: "Taehyungie Hyung, why don't you come with me to the outskirts of the city? I need to film a farm and so I'm going to a strawberry farm."

Taehyung's eyes sparkle as he hears strawberry. Jimin smiles is the assurance that Jungkook is the right guy for his friend.

Taehyung: "Strawberry farm? Really? Where?"

Taehyung asks excitedly.

Jungkook: "It's at the outskirts of the town. Seokjin Hyung found it for me. It's his uncle's farm actually. The topic of the project is 'farm' and so I was just talking with Namjoon Hyung the other day and then I guess he told Seokjin Hyung. The next day, Seokjin Hyung gave me the contact and address. We can pluck fresh strawberries and eat there too. Let's go Hyung!"
