Chapter (67) Promise

Taehyung carefully applies the medication to the wounds on Jungkook's knuckles. The younger winces and Taehyung looks at him with worried eyes. Jungkook flashes a smile to make his Hyung relieved.

Taehyung: *sighs deeply*

Jungkook: "I'm sorry....."

Taehyung: "About?"

Jungkook suddenly goes lost for words. He blinks, gulps and then answers.

Jungkook: "For.... making you busy... like I'm a burden..."

Taehyung wraps the bandage carefully on Jungkook's hands.

Taehyung: "Just don't make me worry again, Kookie...."

Jungkook: "......."

Taehyung holds Jungkook's chin, looks into Jungkook's a bit surprised, wide big eyes.

The corners of Taehyung's lips curl up slightly. Jungkook breaks the eye contact as he can feel all the blood rushing to his face. Taehyung lets go of Jungkook's chin and while taking out another topical medical application, and commands.

Taehyung: "Lift your cloth up."

Jungkook: "HUH?!?"

Taehyung: "I'll apply medicine on those bruises on your ribs. I saw them this morning."

Jungkook freezes with his lips slightly parted and his eyes widened.

Jungkook: "Ummm....."

Taehyung who's asking with a straight face, lets out a sharp sigh and starts to keep the medication away.

Taehyung: "Well, if you don't want, then...."

Jungkook looks down at his torso, then slowly walks nearer to Taehyung and lifts his sweatshirt up until his chests. Taehyung glances at Jungkook's defined abs, then to Jungkook's small innocent face with big nervous eyes, and he smirks.

Taehyung: "Stay."

Taehyung bends down and carefully applies the medication onto the bruises. Jungkook quickly looks down at Taehyung but then he holds his breath and looks away at once. *Oh my gosh...... Hyung.... don't .... touch... my abs.... with your fingers..... ugh......*

Taehyung: "Done!"

Jungkook abruptly covers himself up, thanks Taehyung and then leaves the room at a lightening speed.

Taehyung: "What's wrong with him...... hmm....."

Taehyung who doesn't realize what he has done to Jungkook, keeps the medication in place and onto the shelf beside their wardrobes.

Jungkook comes out from the room in a panic mode and Hoseok and Jimin notice.

Jungkook rushes to the kitchen and gulps down a glass of water, and another.

Jimin carefully approaches him together with Hoseok.

Jimin: "You alright?"

Jungkook is in a daze. He slightly scoffs. Then, what he says make Hoseok and Jimin roll their eyes.

Jungkook: "Taehyungie Hyung applies medicine to the bruises on my ribs.... hee....."

Hoseok: "Yah, we thought something happened to you......"

Jimin shakes his head.

Jungkook is still giggling while holding his torso with a hand as it hurts a bit whenever his torso muscles move.

Hoseok: "What a ......"

Hoseok halts as Taehyung comes out of the room. He looks at the 3 gathered in the kitchen clueless.
