This Was Never A Roleplay

Day 74 - February 18

Last time in CM UC!

Things seem to have quieted down for the group as no villians (thankfully) made an appearance for the day. Luckily, this gives them some time to relax. Though the mood is still far from happy cheery.

Fallus and Diana meet first, neither very happy about the outcome of their deal, and it seems Diana is second guessing it. And it seems Diana is no longer harmed from Kailyn's attack. Isi and Sysceria join the group, hiding among the tree line. It seems Sysceria has broken her long standing will to not kill. And Isi gets a sign from Valin as she hides: a single queen chess piece falling in her lap.

Adina shows up for a little, seeming in better spirits then the rest of them but does not stay long. Then a familiar portal appears, bringing Faylor along to the group who informs them Tolopius, the giant space dragon, is looking to see his 'miniature'. Therefore, the group heads to space to see him in order to avoid him coming there and creating mass extinction.

The rest of the night flows smootly with idle chatter between Tolopius, Isi, Sysceria and a few others. Some come and go, only staying for a short period -- like Skylynn, Fallus, and Hyrax. Tensions begin to rise as Skylynn shows, knowing her abilities but things do not escalate thankfully.

Soon the group winds down to more than one falling asleep on the great space dragon, leaving Sysceria to chat alone with Tolopius until Aiyae comes, covered in burns from the previous fight. Somehow, a new face shows: Ryus. He stays for a little, much to Aiyae's dislike before departing, though no one knows what he is.

The night comes to a close as Freeda and Abby appear later, tensions rising between Freeda and Aiyae for his comment of another monkey. Though it quickly resolves as the cheery Vicki pops in for a short time. Kailyn is also no where to be found this day.

What was Valin hinting at with sending Isi a chess piece?

Will this calm with no villians last for the group? Or is really just the calm before the storm and something much bigger is heading their way?

(Hey guys, Dark here. This is a random thought, but considering our characters see each other as one large dysfunctional mixmatch family. I'm beginning to think us authors are also one large family. Elemental and I were talking one day, and though this group is called CM UC, how many of you think we need a name for this family?)
