Last Time on CMUC
The day began with injuries, as both Vici and Isi appeared battered and mentally scarred, although Isi was far the worse for wear. Moira, despite her exhaustion, attempts to heal Isi...But falls asleep during the process, resulting in rewinding Isi's body way too far and turning her into a toddler.
The group clearly aren't the best babysitters, so Moira rushes off to get her friend Melody, who brings pudding cookies, or puddies. Soon Faylor is stuffing his face and so is Melody, letting Isi wander off into the forest where Diana finds her. They play and eat puddies for a few more moments before the group starts hearing strange noises.
They follow the noises to find a shadow in the form of a dog, somehow having escaped Soa. The group fights this creature, but when they realize that its prescence means something is wrong, they go to Soa to find out what.
They try to get information out of a shadow, but only succeed in confirming their suspicions: Fallus is gone. Next they are confronted by the sorceress who cast the curse, Emora. Diana doesn't react well to seeing her, nearly losing control again, but Emora disappears before any damage is done.
The group finds a new shadow informant, one who wants to help and seems to be more articulate. She tells them of a gate between Soa and Old Soa, where Fallus and Hayis were. They go to the gate and find instructions written in another language that only Freeda could read. She tells Diana how to activate the gate, and then they go through into Old Soa.
Once again they are confronted by Emora, but she allows Diana to see Fallus. Fallus is injured and cannot speak, not seeming to recognize Diana at first. Diana starts to break down seeing him like this, barely noticing as Nehxix appears again to leave a riddle: 'Innocence withers when silence dies.'
Diana takes Fallus back to her castle to care for him, and the night closes.
