Once Hinata's parents got divorced his mom sent him to live with his father, which also caused Hinata to transfer to Aoba Johsai. Who knew that Hinata would find peace with his new school and new teammates rather quickly, some quicker than others ;)...
The two boys slowly woke up realizing that they were all tangled up in each other. Oikawa laughed a little as he saw Hinata's position on top of him. Hinata blushed, "It's not that funny Tooru-"
"To me, it is Sho, to me, it is" Oikawa chuckled a little. They both then heard a knock on Hinata's door. "Shoyo, Tooru, it's time to get up and get ready for the court." "It starts in a couple hours and we have to be there somewhat early"
Hinata groaned a little, "Ugh, fine dad, we'll get ready" the smaller boy slowly unlatched himself off of his soulmate and sighed. "I don't want this to happen today."
Oikawa sat up, "I know, but sometimes it's better to just get it over with." Hinata looked at Oikawa in defeat, "Yeah, I guess so."
"Do you want me to sit right behind you?" Hinata nodded, "Please, can you?"
Oikawa nodded, "Does your dad have any spare suits from when he was younger?"
Hinata looked at his soulmate in confusion, "Why would you need a suit?"
Then Hinata realized what he meant, "OHH, no, you don't need to dress all that fancy since your not really a part of the situation or witnesses."
Oikawa nodded, "I'll still put some decent clothes on though, I don't want to feel underdressed."
Hinata nodded and exited the room to put his suit on.
Oikawa decided to go through his bag to find his "dress up" clothes. He silently thanked himself for having clothes for almost every occasion. He put his outfit on and put his glasses on since he forgot to take out his contacts earlier.

Hinata had walked into his room again with a simple black suit on, he glanced at his soulmate who was bending over putting something in his bag.
'Don't look at his ass, don't look at his ass, don't look at his ass' Hinata was chanting in his head. He found himself staring at his soulmate's ass anyway. Which Oikawa seemed to notice and turned around.
"Oh? Like what you see Chibi-chan?" Oikawa said with a smug look on his face.
"N-no I w-wasn't!" Hinata stuttered and turned around to face the wall. He was blushing furiously.
Oikawa came up to Hinata and spun him around to face him, he leaned Hinata against the wall and pinned his hands on top of him. (this isn't the typical bad thing either I swear)
Hinata blushed even harder, "W-we should get going Tooru-"
Oikawa brought himself closer to Hinata's ear, "If you want, we can continue this later"
This sent a shiver up Hinata's body, he leaned in closer to Oikawa's face to kiss him.
But, Oikawa unpinned his hands and chuckled. "Uh uh uh, you have to wait for that, love" Hinata glared at him. Oikawa laughed fairly loudly, "Don't look at me like that Chibi-"
"I thought I said not to use that nickname" Oikawa froze in his tracks. "Oh- sorry Shoyo"
Hinata laughed, "Oh my god, I was joking" "That was just my payback for you doing what you just did" He winked at Oikawa and left his room, leaving the older one very flustered.
'Damn, that was hot, I might just let him top once-' He began to feel "excited" and decided to clear those thoughts from his head. 'Save it for later Tooru' he face palmed himself and followed Shoyo down the stairs to the kitchen.
Hinata's dad had made everyone a small breakfast, although it seemed Hinata's mother was nowhere to be found.
"Dad, did mom leave already?" His dad nodded and we all sat down and thanked for the food.
After everything was cleaned up and ready to go. The trio made their way out to the car and go in. Oikawa and Hinata sat in the back seat and Hinata's dad sat in the front and drove (obviously)
It was only about a ten minute drive, but everyone in the car was nervous. After Hinata's mother snapped last night, no had actually said a word to her. Hinata's dad slept on the couch while the other two had slept in Hinata's room.
Hinata was fairly sure that his dad was going to get full custody of him, but his mom was definitely different. He just hoped they wouldn't co-parent.
Oikawa felt his soulmates uneasiness through the bond and unbuckled his seatbelt and got closer to Hinata. "Hey, everything is going to turn out okay"
"How can you say that?" "Have you ever been in this situation before?"
"I was just-"
"Shut it Oikawa, and go back to your spot, just because we just met and we're soulmates doesn't mean I need you to baby me alright?" "I can handle somethings on my own"
Hinata shot a cold glance at Oikawa and turned his body towards the window. Oikawa slowly moved back to his spot and rebuckled his seatbelt. He was only trying to help, he knew how stressful today would be, so he was doing his best to not let his emotions get to him.
But, for Oikawa, luck wasn't always on his side and he felt a tear or two flow down his cheek. He felt the lump in his throat tighten and did his best not to make any noise. His heart was in the right place, he just hoped that Hinata knew that.

The rest of the car ride was as silent as a classroom full of kids taking a very important test. Hinata's dad had kept the radio off and just tried to focus on his nerves as well. He also picked up his soulmate from his house so he could come to the trial as well. His soulmate, Haru, noticed all of the tension in the car and asked Minoto (Hinata's dad) about it.
"They're in a slight disagreement right now, but I'm sure they'll figure it out soon."
He paused for a second...
"Hopefully"
