The court didn't take as long as Hinata expected it to be. Even though it was a divorce case, it seemed to be happening more often nowadays. It was around lunchtime when they got a break and were preparing for the custody case. 

Oikawa and Hinata still weren't talking to each other after their fight in the car earlier that morning. Hinata was talking to Haru and doing his best to get to know him a little more since he'll probably be a registered guardian soon. Haru was actually really easy to talk to and Hinata let himself laugh a few times. He felt bad for snapping at Tooru, he really did, but at the same time, they just met, Tooru really didn't have to be here with him right now, but, he chose to come anyway.

"Hey, you alright Shoyo?" Haru asked the small ginger who seemed to be very spaced out. 

"What?" Hinata sighed, "Sorry, I was spaced out for a bit." 

"I'm assuming it's about your soulmate?" "The car ride was definitely tense here huh?"

Hinata nodded slowly, "I" He sighed again. "I feel bad for snapping at him, but-"

"You're happy he's here supporting you right?" 

Hinata's eyes widened a little bit. Haru seemed to know how he's feeling or must be some kind of psychic. 

"How'd you know that?" Hinata was still very shocked at how easily he read him. 

"I'm a psychologist and I'm just really good at reading people." He shrugged it off and continued speaking. "Over the years I have patients who feel the same way as you, and I've just gotten good at picking up social cues and all of that."

"The best thing you could do is just talk to him about it, tell him how you feel, and come up with a solution between the two of you." 

Hinata nodded, "Thank you Haru!" "I'll go talk to him now!"

Haru chuckled as he saw Hinata run off towards Tooru. 

"Something funny?" Minoto wrapped his arm around Haru's waist. Planting a small kiss on his forehead. 

"No, but I think I just helped your son with his fight with his soulmate."

Minoto glanced over to his son and his soulmate talking. They hugged each other, well, more like Hinata jumped into Tooru's arms and wrapped himself around the brunette. 

Minoto chuckled, "I should've divorced Yuna a long time ago, I don't regret her though."

Haru gave him a confused look.

"It's not really about us Haru, it's about the little ball of sunshine over there that I'm proud to call my son." "I may have never had him if I had done, um, what I did a long time ago." "That kid right there is the light of my life, my greatest accomplishment in life." 

Haru gave his soulmate a soft smile, "Then I don't regret anything either, he makes you happy and that makes me happy." 

The newly reunited soulmates shared a smile as they saw Tooru and Hinata still hugging each other.

The disagreement from earlier was as good as gone, they both explained how they felt. Hinata understood that Tooru's heart really was in the right place, and Tooru understood that Hinata's past few days have been extremely exhausting and stressful. 

They moved over towards a bench and just relaxed in each other's embrace. Haru and Minoto brought over some sandwiches and sat close to the two. 

Hinata finally let himself go from Tooru to eat. 

"When does the custody battle start?" Hinata asked Minoto after he finished his sandwich. 

"First of all Sho, it's not a battle, and second it starts at 2:30"

"But battle sounds more fun-"

"Shoyo." Minoto said while raising an eyebrow. 

"Sorry, dad."

Surprisingly, Yuna (I think I named her that lmao) showed up for the custody part of the day. She fought pretty hard for full custody, but since her destined soulmate had died, they gave her partial custody. 

Hinata had to spend every other weekend and summer break with his mother. The distance honestly wasn't bad since Aoba Johsai wasn't that far away from Karasuno. Hinata did have a little say, and since his mom wasn't abusive or anything the judge gave the co-parent official. 

The judge also made Haru another official guardian of Hinata. This made Minoto and Haru especially happy, it was their first official thing as soulmates and they gave each other the strongest of hugs. 

Yuna offered to stay at a hotel that night while Minoto and Hinata packed all of their belongings and Minoto pulled Hinata out of Karasuno and enrolled him to Aoba Johsai. Monday would be Hinata's last day as a crow and his last day as an "official" member of their volleyball club. 

Oikawa had a bittersweet feeling in his chest. He was happy that Hinata would be closer to him now, but at the same time, Hinata was leaving his first "real" team he ever had. One he probably planned to stay with throughout his high school career.

Karasuno didn't take the news very well, Suga, Yachi, Kyoko, and Yamaguchi practically were balling their eyes out. Tsukishima and Kageyama simply acted like they didn't care, oh, but they did. The forgotten trio was upset as well, they weren't crying but they were still unhappy. Daichi just stood by the net with a frown on his face, he wanted to join Suga and that group, but he wanted to be strong for them. Last, but certainly not least, Nishinoya and Tanaka held Hinata in a tight embrace while tears stream down their faces. 

Hinata said goodbye to everyone and wrote everyone notes of how much he appreciated everyone. He left them in everyone's bag as afternoon practice started, they had to learn to adapt without Hinata and quick, so he was just observing until his dad came. 

Let's just say Tsukishima even shed a tear after reading Hinata's goodbye note. 

Hinata waved at the team as his dad began driving off towards their new apartment closer to Aoba Johsai, tears streaming down his face as Karasuno slowly got further away until it was no longer visible.
