you both had finally made it back to the logs scattered around the line of tents. you quickly grabbed your now dry clothing and changed into them.

"sorry about your shirt... I can go and wash it if you'd like." you said slipping out of his muddy shirt you borrowed.

"it's no big deal, I have plenty of other shirts. but personally, I'd prefer you without a shirt." you saw him smirk.

you blushed and lifted your arms up to cover yourself. you slipped your shirt on and lightly punched his arm which made him giggle.

once all of your clothes were slipped on, you once again decided to get back to the survivor fire. you were definitely gone way too long this time.

"i'm gonna head back to camp. i'll see you soon, okay?"

"okay. be safe." he responded. he leaned down and smooched you right on your lips. you giggled quietly before waving to him.

you skipped your way through the woods back towards the campfire with a smile. upon arriving, however, your smile faded as you noticed David was looming next to a tree near the entrance from the woods.

you silently waved at him, but he only stared you down with his brows knitted together. you were extremely confused as he strided over to you.

"y/n, what in God's name were you doing with that new killer?" he confronted you directly, and as you thought about it, he must have seen you when you were in the woods with him.

"y-you saw me? in the forest?" you questioned.

he nodded. "you weren't wearing hardly anything either. what was that all about? are ya hurt?"

you once again blushed, and tried to brush off the situation.

"no, no! I'm not hurt. but it's really nothing to worry about, i'm fine, see?" you said motioning your hands around your body.

"y/n, you were with a damn killer!" he growled.

this of course got the attention of several people. a few walked over, and soon it was majority of the camp.

everyone was whispering to each other, but you could only make out a few negative comments about you and a killer.

your throat became very dry, and you started to find it hard to breathe. you closed your eyes and tried to calm down.

you open your eyes after awhile, and saw a mixture of different expressions on everyone's faces. you wanted to run. you did have some social anxiety, and crowds like this were not something you were good at dealing with.

"y/n, what's going on?"

"yeah, what about you being with a killer?"

a few people were making snarky comments, and you honestly felt like you were going to burst out in tears.

Laurie walked up to you and placed a hand on your shoulder once she realized.

"y/n just calm down and please explain what's going on with you and this killer."

you swallowed hard, but nodded.

"let's all get around the campfire. i'll explain there." everyone nodded, and once you were all seated you began to explain.

you started off by saying you had first met him in a trial, and he let you escape. how you craved to see him, and every time you left the survivor camp you were going to see him. how you both confessed your love only yesterday, and how he was there for you.

you really hoped they would understand. understand that you had somehow found happiness in this realm. if they were all upset with you, it would hurt.

fortunately, once you were done explaining, most of your friends had smirks on their faces.

"awww, y/n's in love with the Trickster!" a few people shouted.

your cheeks became red once more, but you were forever glad that not a lot of people were angry. it was a big surprise.

Yun Jin seemed a little confused, and you decided to go talk to her. upon walking up to her, she glanced up to you.

"you... you're in love with him?" she asked hesitantly.

you were sort of scared to answer that, but responded truthfully with a nod of your head. she only looked away.

"well, okay then. I'm glad he makes you happy." she smiled to you. you smiled back and heard a few people agreeing with her.

you genuinely smiled. everyone around you was having a good time, teasing you, drinking and eating. it felt as if a huge weight was lifted from your shoulders. you were happy.

you decided to go over to your tent. it had been a few days since you've even seen it. you walked through the flap, and looked around. it was quite unfair that the killers tents are much more spacious.

you had a few different types of flowers, letters and photographs for maps, toolboxes, and even the occasional medkit or flashlight. you didn't have anything that was truthfully special to you though.

then you suddenly remembered. you quickly reached your hand into your back pocket and pulled out the small piece of laminated paper. Ji-Woon's iconic photograph.

you smiled down at the small piece of paper, before rolling onto your back. you lifted the photo way up above your head simply getting lost in thought before muttering something to yourself. "oh, Ji-Woon, how I love you." you then placed it down on the floor right beside your head.

you wanted to go and see him already, but you had only just left. you didn't want to completely get lost with him and never have the time to hang around with your friends. after all, they were with you this far.

you decided to go out and catch up with people. see how the trials have been. y'know, the usual.

you walked back out of your tent, and went back to the campfire. you started the usual conversations, and even managed to get teased more. you knew it was all in good fun though.

"so," Laurie started. "you and the Trickster aye? how's that going for you two?"

"oh, you know. nothing out of the ordinary. lots of kisses and things like that." you responded while closing your eyes thinking of all the good times you had with the killer.

you decided it was probably best to leave out the sadist parts. he did tease you a lot with his knives, and had basically brought you to your knees begging him not to hurt you.

"oh yeah? have you done anything with him yet?" Zarina responded while wiggling her eyebrows.

you knew exactly what she was talking about right away.

"w-what?" you stuttered out, a pink rising to your cheeks. "of course not!"

all the girls around you bursted out in laughter.

"you will eventually." Yui said.

the pink that dusted your cheeks only grew brighter, but you decided to ignore it.

"anyways," you changed the subject. "the killers are actually extremely laid back when they aren't in trials. we should all have one big group camp out sometime." you suggested.

you got a few scared expressions from people not believing you one bit.

you only shrugged. "I guess you have to see it to believe it. maybe when you all grow some big boy balls like me." you said and thrusted your hips into the air jokingly.

that of course got some chuckles out of your friends. a few of them even agreed to follow you down sometime to see if it was actually true.

just as you were about to sit back down, another mist formed around you.

"here we go again." you sighed.
