you never really bothered with relationships in the past. all of your friends were in relationships, hell, you even got asked out a few times but you were never really interested.

you had a few crushes on some people throughout your life, but no one ever gets with their crushes anyways. it was always just a lost cause for emotion. there was never really a meaning behind it, finding someone attractive. you would never act on it. it kinda just meant you had a heart.

now all of a sudden you have a boyfriend? it made you happy knowing that. even though you felt like you were out of his league, today only proved that you were wrong. he clearly cared about you or he wouldn't have been crying a few moments ago. he's said he loved you so many times, and you only felt the same way.

a sudden call brought you back to reality.

"let's get back, my angel."

he pulled you to your feet, but you fell against him. he caught you and gave you a confused look.

"are you hurt?" he asked.

"y-yeah, Herman put all of his weight on my feet and practically crushed them. i-it hurts to stand."

"ah, no matter." he laced a hand around the small of your back and another underneath your legs, and began to carry you bridal style.

you blushed and your arms instinctively wrapped around his neck. he glanced down at you and smirked which only made you hide your face in his chest.

☆☆☆

you noticed he was walking you towards his tent, but you stopped him by tugging lightly on his coat.

"we should go see Claud if she's still here. she probably knows what to do with my feet." you mentioned.

"right, of course. maybe we could see Sally as well. I'm sure she wouldn't mind patching you up. she is a nurse after all."

you only nodded and rested your head against his chest once more as he carried you over to the fire. you felt bad for having him carry you around. it didn't feel appropriate. you knew you would have a hard time if he wasn't carrying you, but it seemed rather awkward.

"i'm sorry that you have to carry me around, Ji-Woon."

"don't be sorry, angel. i'm fine with carrying you around. it just gets me even closer to you anyways. plus, I don't think you would have a great time walking on your own."

"I know, but I just feel like a nuisance." you responded, a slight blush on your cheeks while you traced a finger along his exposed collarbone.

"nonsense. i'm not going to stand here and watch you try to stand let alone walk. I'd rather carry you anyways."

you only nodded against him and stayed quiet for the rest of the short trip. you both got to the camp to see Claud and Max still hanging about. Claud seemed to be explaining something to him using hand gestures. he watched her with great curiosity as she spoke.

she noticed the flashy yellow coat coming into her sight and quickly finished her conversation.

"hey you two. something wrong?" she asked.

she knew you well, and you being carried seemed to be a little out of your comfort zone.

"Herman had earlier caused y/n here some injuries, and now it's difficult for her to walk. she said he put all of his weight on her feet and crushed them," Ji-Woon explained while lying you down on a log. "I was hoping you'd be of some help?"

"hm," Claud started. "I don't think i'm going to be a lot of help actually. I'm not a nurse, I'm a botanist. I'm best at healing open wounds, not broken bones." she explained.

you pouted at that. maybe Sally could help, but you didn't know where she was. plus, you were kind of afraid of her. she was very powerful and intimidating in the trials.

"i'll be back," you heard Ji-Woon say as you watched him stand up from his crouched position. "i'm going to go look for Sally, i'm sure she can help. I won't be long, angel."

you nodded to him before he took off towards the tents, nervousness growing inside you.

you and Claud conversed for a few minutes before Ji-Woon returned with Sally. he was explaining what happened to her, and she floated over before crouching down near your feet.

you gulped as she looked over your feet. she pressed her small fingers against certain points on your feet to see which spots hurt the most.

she explained that she could already tell that one of your feet was in an abnormal position, and you'd need a cast and heavy bandages for at least a week.

"you should try to keep off of your feet, my dear. if you must go anywhere, have someone assist you. it's the fastest way for your feet to heal."

"o-okay.."

you watched as she wrapped some bandages around your feet rather tightly. it almost felt like it was cutting off the circulation, but you trusted her.

she finished up with the bandages and floated off back to her tent. you looked up to Ji-Woon before asking him to carry you back to his tent. you had developed a headache after all that had happened and you honestly just wanted to lay down for a while.

he gently picked you up holding you close to his chest. you listened to his heartbeat as he walked, almost falling asleep to the slow rhythm.

you arrived, and he carefully placed you onto his few covers before sitting across from you.

"thank you..." you said quietly.

"for?" he questioned.

"everything." you responded.

you closed your eyes and listened to him begin to hum a tune. you guessed it was one of his songs that he made before he got taken, but you weren't certain.

your drowsiness started to take over as you listened, but before you comepletely fell asleep you felt him settle himself behind you once again and pulled you against him.

a smile made it's way to your lips before you completely passed out.
