Chapter 3

Alya

After I had just had breakfast the next day, Will and a lady tan skin, brown hair in a ponytail, green-ish eyes, wearing an orange shirt and skinny jeans. She had a very friendly smile on her face. Will started talking "This is Piper Mclean, she will me showing you around after I let you go" Piper waves and I wave back "You seem to be reacting well to the ambrosia and nectar and you are able to walk well so you are free to go with Piper." Will continued as he wrote something down on a folder. I nodded and grabbed my bag from the chair in the room as I hopped off the bed. I walked to Piper and she held out her hand and I shook it with a big smile

"Nice to meet you, Piper. I'm Alya" I said

"Oh! Yes, I know who you are. We keep files on all the people in and out of here" she said with a serious face. A wave of worry came through me but it got relieved as she began laughing "I'm just kidding, Nico told me about you" she continued. I chuckled too, I was ready to talk back when she said "Now, let's get out of here" as she grabbed my bag and started walking out of the building.

We were outside when I finally got a glimpse of camp and noticed how big the camp was. I stood there for a moment to take it all in but then I noticed that Piper was almost 5 meters in front of me so I did a quick sprint to her and continued walking beside her as she spoke "That over there, is the Arts & Crafts center and right behind it, you have the amphitheater." she pointed to a tent. We continued walking and arrived in the hurdle of cabins

"These are the cabins" Piper said "The 2 big ones are for Zeus and Hera, that no one stays at since there are no kids of Zeus right now and there will never be kids of Hera since she doesn't cheat unlike her husband."

Then in the back, you have all the minor gods and Lord Hades." she finished saying as she pointed to each cabin

"Wow, that's a lot of gods but I do have to ask, where am I supposed to sleep at?" I asked knowing that I had not been claimed yet.

"For now, you will sleep in Hermes cabin since he is god of travelers. The small amount of unclaimed kids we get go there before being claimed" she answered and I nodded

She continued walking and I followed her but that was when 2 girls around my age stopped us.

One of them was a short ,tan ,thick girl with a round face with big features, she had long black curly hair with purple headband. She was wearing an orange camp shirt, a long black skirt, black converse high tops with purple laces, hoop earrings and nose stud. She had a big cut in her arm and she was bleeding.

The girl next to her, which didn't seem happy to be there, was a tall, pale, skinny, short haired blonde with red dyed tips. She had a squared face with a thin mouth and eyebrows, she had green eyes. She was wearing the camp shirt, black leggings, vans and her hair in a ponytail. She had blood on her shirt.

The tan girl cried "Piper look! She is crazy! She out of nowhere decided to attack me with her sword and she bothered to help me to infirmary!"

"I only reacted in self defense after you decided to curse me, you witch!" the tall girl interrupted

"Aye! Come on, it was a joke idiot" the tan girl answered and then they started arguing and yelling with each other

"GIRLS! Stop it!" yelled Piper. We all looked at her "Please! This is a new camper, you don't want her to get the wrong impression of this camp, gods!" Then they looked at me

"Oh hi, I'm Malena, welcome to Camp Half-Blood" said the tan girl with a look of shame on her face

"I'm Brigitte, welcome" said the other girl, also with a look of shame on her face.

I waved softly at them. "Alya, pleasure to meet you both." I said

"Now! Please Brigitte, take Malena to the infirmary and please try to get along. I have to continue showing Alya around." Piper interrupted and began walking towards another cabin.

She walked inside of it and I followed her in and I looked around at an assortment of weapons.

"This is the armory, where you will choose your weapon of your choice. They are all made with celestial bronze..." Piper talked but everything just faded and then I saw a dagger that had the shape of a lightning bolt and a blood red covering.

It felt like it was almost calling, I went over to it and picked it up but that's when Piper tapped my on my shoulder and I set the knife down "Were you listening to what I said, Alya?" she asked and I snapped out of my fantasy, I shook my head.

"No, sorry, I actually don't know what happened. It was like the dagger was calling out to me and it just blocked everything else going, if that makes sense haha." I said

Piper did not seem surprised at all. "Well, I was saying that all these weapons are made from a special metal named Celestial Bronze, which is an enchanted metal made by demigods to kill monsters." she continued like I said anything

"Ah okay" I said

"And I also think that this;" she picked up the dagger I had picked up earlier and gave it to me "should be your weapon, not because you chose it but rather because it chose you, Alya." I grabbed the dagger and nodded because I knew deep down that this was destiny for some reason.
