Piper
I was sitting on the beach, smoking a cigarette like the loser that I've become. It was around 5 in the morning, the sun was rising and there was fog settled on top of the water, like a blanket over the horizon. I just sat there and contemplated my life, how I had gotten to this point. I was dumb, stupid and naive, thats how I got to this point. After I had broken up with Jason as teenagers, I dated around until 7 years later, I got back together and we eventually got married but I sat in a loveless marriage for years until we had our son Matthew, 6 years ago. However, Jason still felt that there was no love so he then decided that he wanted a divorce and left for New Rome. He took everything, 50k from me, our son and most importantly, my happiness. That was 4 years ago and I'm still damaged. He has a new girlfriend and they are expecting a daughter now while I'm crying in my fucking love puddle without him and my son, which he got full custody of. I started crying after noticing how shitty my life has turned, I extinguished my cigarette and stood up and let out a scream that could be heard from Tartarus.

I walked back to camp after my little breakdown, I was probably just going to do some work but that's when I saw Alya, the new camper who I had shown around a couple of days ago, go into Hera cabin. She knew she wasn't allowed in there. I followed her inside of the cabin, I looked around and had a flashback of when Annabeth and Rachel were in here on my first days at Camp Half-Blood. I continued further into the cabin and yelled "Alya?". I finally found her at the feet of the Hera Statue inside the cabin. Her eyes were shining gold like she was possessed, I grabbed her shoulder and shook her which seemed to make her snap out of her dream.
"Alya! What are you doing in here, you know you're not allowed" I asked her with a tone
"I-,uh" she said as she looked around, she seemed confused "I was just laying in bed when I felt a force pulling me and calling me like the one when I was in the armory." She continued. I understood what she meant, like the force which pulled her to the dagger she had chosen as her weapon.
"Well, I get its not your fault but we need to get out of here, we are not supposed to be here." I said as I turned around and started walking towards the door but I did not feel any movement behind me so I turned back around but that's when I saw it.
"Alya! Turn around now!" I yelled at her quickly with fear. She turned around and I noticed it, there was a red peacock feather above her, the symbol of Hera. She was the child of Hera. I stood there with my mouth wide open in disbelief.
"Piper? Piper?! What is it!" she asked me with a scared face.
"Um, You've claimed Alya Jayden." I said with a scared face as well
She smiled and said "Wait! Really?! I thought something really bad just happened, you could be a little happier for me."
"Well, I beg to differ, Alya. Your mother is Hera." I said, still trying to process what I had just witnessed.
Her jaw dropped and eyes widened then asked "Wait, wait, wait, doesn't she only have kids with her husband?'
"Yeah, yeah she does which makes you an extremely rare demigod and one at danger." I said
"Oh..." she said
"Zeus would not be happy with you meaning you've got an enemy in him and monsters would have killed you by now." I continued as I thought of what to do next and that's when it occurred to me. I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the cabin and walked her to the Big House to meet with Chiron.

When we got to the big house, I stormed in there and banged on the door of Chiron's office.
He opened the door with a coffee in hand. "We've got a situation" I said and pushed Alya into his office then walked in there behind her. Chiron seemed shocked and he was about to speak when a knock on the door interrupted him, then Rachel came in screaming.
