Chapter 6

Rachel came in yelling. "I've got a prophecy, a big one." she said and then went to Alya "Hey, sweetie you mind waiting for a few minutes outside" Alya stood up and sat in the chairs in the waiting room

"Well what is it, Miss Dare?" asked Chiron

"I think it is coming from the Fates themselves, not the Spirit of Delphi. It goes like this;

A daughter of the queen, a unborn child of praised demigods

There is a bond that they share, threatened by the queen who's unfair

Their thread is tied, the queen will cut the unborn child's, saving her daughter

She will not do so unless a bastard child of her husband is killed, and a diadem returned, she wants blood to be spilled

However there is only one blade that will kill the child, a blade of mighty ancient Indo power.

The blood shall be brought to the queen by October First, if not the unborn baby will be cursed."

said Rachel before she turned to me and asked me "Are you pregnant by any chance, Piper?"

I started laughing "Why in Hades are you asking me that, it's probably Annabeth who is"

"Oh, alright." said Rachel, then said to Chiron "Call Percy and Annabeth here" which he did.

Around 10 minutes later Percy and Annabeth came in looking all sleepy. Rachel spoke "So, there is a prophecy and there is an unborn child of praised demigods that is at stake. By any chance are you guys pregnant?"

Percy quickly answered no while Annabeth took a few seconds and then said yes. Percy looked at her stunned and then said "Wait, you're pregnant?" to Annabeth and she nodded "I just found out 2 days ago, I didn't want to tell anyone." she said

"Hey, I'm your husband. You can tell me anything especially something life changing like this" Percy said with anger in his voice

"I know, I'm sorry" Annabeth said to Percy but then turned to face Rachel " Who wants to hurt my child, Rachel?"

Rachel repeated the prophecy and that's when it clicked in my head. It is Hera, she doesn't like any of us especially Percy and Annabeth, She is the queen of the heavens and she does have a daughter! It's Alya!

"It's Hera" I just said slightly and they all looked at me

There was a commotion of reactions from "Of course, it is" to cursing. Then Percy pitched in "Wait, wait, Hera's only daughters are goddesses. I don't think they'll help us."

I listened and I smiled with fear "Well, Hera just claimed someone today." Their eyes went huge and I opened the door and let Alya back in. Alya said hi and then Annabeth attacked her. It was a whole commotion. Percy and I quickly jumped in, He grabbed Annabeth and pulled her to the left and I grabbed Alya and pulled her to the right. They backed down but then Annabeth drew her dagger which caused Alya to do the same. I quickly jumped in the middle and yelled "STOP!". I held out my hand to collect both of their weapons before they hurt each other. They were hesitant but handed them over.

"You are a monster, your mother is a monster. You are from evil blood" Annabeth screamed at Alya while tears of fear came streaming down her face. I took a glance at Alya who was being aided into a chair by Rachel. Chiron was so shocked, He hadn't said anything until he broke the silence by clearing his throat

"Annabeth, That was highly unprofessional to attack an unprepared teenager." he said and continued talking.

I stopped paying attention as I looked at Alya's dagger. It had a super cool handle and cover made of red dragon skin and a few letters that I hadn't realized before. On one side, the words were in a foreign language that I didn't understand, I think it might be Sanskrit and on the other side, it was ancient greek. It was the dagger's name "Duranis" which meant power.

Wait a minute power, the prophecy talked about a powerful Indo blade. This is the blade from the prophecy! Look, the meaning of the name is power and the language in the inscription is Sanskrit and Indo-Aryan language. The prophecy is sending Alya to kill a child of Zeus and get Hera's diadem back!

"This is the powerful blade about the prophecy." I said as I jumped up from my seat, raising Alya's dagger up high

This prophecy is about Alya, her mother wants her to go and kill a child of Zeus and retrieve her diadem which I am guessing that Hera's sacred diadem is stolen." I continued.

I didn't have time to draw a new picture for this chapter so I hope you don't mind this old Piper McLean drawing I did a long time ago

I'm terribly sorry not updating once a week like I said; I'm currently in the middle of a lot of things at school and they are kinda my number one priority, lol. Another reason why I am posting on a thursday rather than on a friday, I have like 2 exams on the same day which I REALLY need to study for.
