AN: I'm doing a bit of a rewrite and from this point on it's going to follow (at the very least loosely) the plot of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. So SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THE FIRST TWO EPISODES!! Consider yourselves warned and enjoy!

"They call themselves the what?" Alyssa asked as she accepted a glass of wine from Steve and took a sip. Sam was currently sitting on the other side of the couch from her while Bucky opted to sit in a chair on the other side of the room.

"The Flag Smashers." Sam replied with a roll of his eyes as he leaned back.

"Who was in charge of that? It's awful." She commented causing Sam to laugh.

"The name isn't the point." Bucky spoke up, giving the two a pointed look. "They're a terrorist organization who thought life was better during the blip."

"It wasn't. I can safely say that." She replied and Steve nodded in agreement.

"Well, they seem to think otherwise and they're strong, like this brute over here." Sam said, getting a glare from Bucky in response.

"So what's the plan?" She asked them, downing the rest of her wine. "And when do we leave?"

"We're going to track them down and stop them." Bucky said like it was obvious. She glared at him.

"How do you plan to do that from here?" She questioned, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Redwing's on it for now." Sam told her proudly to which she laughed slightly. "So it's currently just a waiting game. Before you ask, we need you because we need another free agent rather than someone tied to the government or part of some crazy conspiracy theories."

"You mean he can't help from the moon?" Alyssa asked with a laugh as she pointed at Steve.

"That's what they're saying now?" Steve responded from where he stood in the kitchen doing dishes with a surprised look on his face.

"Remind me to show you how to use your iPad, old man." She told him. "People have all sorts of theories as to what you're up to and where you're at."

"But the moon?" Steve asked again, shaking his head. "I don't think I'll ever understand people."

"Anyway! Back to the point. We're in limbo at the moment." Bucky said, redirecting the conversation. "That being said, I'm going back to my apartment. You two, have a wonderful night. Steve, I'll see you later."

"Take Aly with you!" Steve called as Bucky reached for the handle of the front door causing him to freeze.

"Why? You have a couch and a guest room. They can both stay here with you." He pointed out.

"I turned the guest room into an art studio." Steve shrugged. Aly smiled at that. When she left he had been talking about it, but wasn't sure if he would do it or not.

"The couch can fit both of them." Bucky tried again, shooting his friend a glare.

"That's not true and you know it." Steve said. The two stood in silence staring at each other, clearly having a silent conversation.

"Has he always had a staring problem?" Sam asked in a whisper as he leaned closer to her. She smiled and nodded her head.

"Fine." Bucky finally relented. "Lawson, you're staying with me, Bird Brain, you're staying here."

"Well, given that I just got called by my last name, I'll be needing this," She said, picking up the bottle of wine. "And this." She said going into the kitchen and grabbing a bottle of vodka from one of the cabinets.
