CHAPTER SIXTEEN : BLANKET'S STILL GONE

|

shigaraki was a villain.

there was no such thing as love. for him, that whole concept died when he killed his family. there was respect. there was lust. and there was hate. and lust is what he had with you.

but he didn't need you, certainly not.

he only wanted the idea of you, the fact that you could tumble around together without having to worry about casualties.

he scoffed, preparing for the overhaul shit to go down tomorrow. he lay down on his bed and tried to go to sleep. he didn't need you.

he didn't need you.

then why couldn't he fall asleep knowing you were hurting because of him?

/

you sighed, face-planting into your small cot, the blanket still gone. you wished toga were here so you could vent about everything.

you've grown to need shigaraki. you need his presence, his smart comebacks, petty arguments, and his slight arrogance. you wanted to soothe and comfort him and it was working, up until one point. but everything came crashing down in mere minutes.

guess this was the reminder, you thought. the reminder that this was a villain organization. everyone was in it for their own gain and nobody cared about anything. shigaraki was the ringleader of it all and you had to get attached to the worst person to get attached to.

you buried your face into the pillow, wanting to fall asleep so you weren't left with your thoughts. it was a while since you'd slept next to shigaraki, and you felt the stark difference.

maybe you shouldn't have said anything. maybe it was better if you'd just kept the agreement. maybe it was better if you hadn't agreed to any of it in the first place.
