After Ethan had found out about Mg, Mg had decided not to compel him and trust him besides they had been hanging out and they had become good friends even partner in crimes.
So that's we're they're currently at a gas station trying to bring some good and peace to the world. Mg was trying to use his vamp abilities for good.
Embracing his powers.
They're standing by the gas station entrance when they notice two sketchy men. Ethan approaches one of them.
"Hey I forgot my ID could you hook me up with some beer?"
"Get out of here kid." One of the men says and he shows Ethan the gun he has on him.
Ethan leaves running and the men proceed to go inside the gas station.
The men walk inside suspiciously then they put ski masks on, take their gun out and try to steal all the money from the owner while they point their gun at her.
One of the guys is about to shoot but Mg uses his vamp speed and takes the gun away.
"Oh." Mg says laughing since the guys are confused.
"Where y'all using these? My bad." Mg says dropping them inside a icee machine.

He then compels them to turn themselves in to the police.
