Y/n POV
i was praying and praying for my baby to make it. he's only 16 years old and he has so much to look for in the future. i wanna see my grandkids and see how much they will look like there father. i wanna see Mateo graduate from high school and college. i wanna see him teach his kids how to treat a woman and to not cheat on there girlfriend OR boyfriend. i just want to see my baby again. my first born child. that's when the nurses came back.
nurse: are you the mother of Mateo Samuel Y/ln Cosentino
she asked with the other nurse next to her. i quickly got up from the floor and wiped my tears.
You: yes yes i am
i tried to smile but it wouldn't work.
kai: is our son ok
he said trying to sound hopeful but his voice still cracking.
nurse: Mateo has lost a lot of blood but the doctors did manage to stop it and take the bullet out and we have contacted the police
she explained everything and of course i was crying but the nurse just made it better. idk how.
You: can we see him
i asked while kairi put his arm around me then kissed my cheek.
nurse: of course follow me!
me and kairi sighed with relief.
the 2 nurses brought me and kairi to the room Mateo was in. he was hooked up to so many machines. i rushed over to him and kissed every part of his face. Mateo was sleeping but was so peaceful. i kissed his hand and sat right by him while kairi was on the other side. kai had kissed Mateo on the head just saying "thank god".
You: i'm so sorry baby i shouldn't have told you to wait outside or this would have never happened it should be me on this bed but please stay strong for mommy and dad ok we love you to the moon and back
tears fell out my eyes and i kissed him again on the cheek.
kai: hey bud i know you can here me and mom but listen to me you are one strong ass boy ok and all the strength you have been saving it's the time to bring it out and wake up for us ok and your siblings
i heard kairi say.
silence in the room but good silence. i told the group about what happened and they said they were ok there way here. minutes later they bursted into the room.
tia: oh my god
he rushed over to me and Mateo. he hugged me then kissed him on the head.
Vic: oh y/n
i turned and saw vic taylor and aiyana staring at me. i walked over to them and broke down in their arms.
tay: i know baby
she held me so tight.
aiy: he's ok though and he's gonna wake up
vic didn't even say anything just stayed quiet. she knew it's what i wanted.
the boys were surrounding Mateo. of course they came to hug me and kairi. i'm happy none of the other boys girlfriend was here cuz that would have been annoying and awkward. we all just sat in silence until ale broke it.
ale: are you gonna bring your kids to see him
i shook my head "no".
You: not yet they shouldn't see him like this
