I nervously tapped my pencil on the beaten up, old wooden desk.

"Ashley Woods! Are you even listening to a word I say? Here, let me spell it all out for you, again. Your failing, miserably, in all your classes. If your grades don't start coming up, you'll have to retake this semester." Ms. Bennett growled down towards me as I sat in her rose and coffee stanched office.

I chuckled looking up slightly. "First, the names Ash. Second," I stood looking her deep in the eyes, "I don't give a shit about failing or retaking this semester. You think calling me in here and trying to scare me is going to get me to pass, think again bitch." I stated turning on my heel and walking trough the door, slamming it on the way.
-
"Ashley!" My mom calls for me from the living room. I brush off her nagging voice and skim my way past her into the kitchen.

"Busy!" I shout back grabbing the lighter from under the cabinet.

"Can we talk?" Her voice rang through me ears. Talk.

"Uh, still busy." I said, quietly placing the lighter in my black long-bag. I quickly ran into to my room, locking the door behind me.

I snooped around in my closet for something to wear. I looked for what seemed like ages before making up my mind on a pair of ripped black skinny jeans, and a gray muscle shirt that said 'Go Fxck Your #Selfie' I smirked to myself as I found a black crop bra and my converse. I threw my clothes on and added a few touch ups to my make up before placing my band brackets back on my wrists.

After I'm done, I grab my pack of ciggs and the small lighter, place them in my pocket, get my phone, and sneak out the window. After I'm out, I text chase.

Ash🔥: Wanna smoke ? Teachers got me pissed .

C💀: Hell yeah, meet me by the rail road in 15 xx I'm bringing Sam .

Ash🔥: K xx

I placed my phone in my pocket and started walking to the tracks when something stoped me.

"Ashie?" Turning my head, I look downwards at my little sister, Grace. She never pronounced my name correctly, but she sounded fucking adorable trying to.

"Hey Grace," I flashed a small smile picking her up and placing her small body on my waste. "what are you doing out here by yourself?"

"Buba!" She said, tossing her hands in the air, squealing. I threw my head around and saw my brother running up. Placing Grace on the ground, I straightened my shirt.

"Hey Ash-ley." He mocked.

"It's Ash. Just Ash you dick." I said pushing his shoulder and heading off . "Tell mom I'm going out!" I hollered over the thing cars flashing by.
-
"Hey Ash!" Sam screamed to me from the railroad. I saw Chris slap the back of his head and mumble a 'shut up'. I chuckled slightly dragging a cig out of my bag and lighting it.

"Here," I threw Chris and Sam one, along with the lighter. "have fun."
-
"So wait, you called Ms. Bennett a bitch? Damn what a badass! Nobody's ever stood up to the whore." Sam and Chris laughed.

"I don't give a shit." I chuckled back, throwing my used cigaret on the ground and stepping on it.

"So, Ash," Sam started. "You know the school dance is coming up-"

"You know I don't dance." I smirked looking up at the dark, misty, sky above us.

"Eh, it was a long shot." He chuckled.

"Ima head off. My parents are going to flip shit if I don't get back." Chris laughed, flashing an adorable smile with his perfectly straight teeth.

"Yeah I should go too." I laughed, nervously rubbing to back of my neck. And with that, we all walked our own routes back to hell.
