Torvi's Point Of View
You all know that there's always going to be that one person who you can't say no to well I know who mine is and I know that by going raiding with my Father to England means that I will be spending a lot more time with him. My Father is King of most of Norway and that means that there are always eyes on my family and there always has been even before Halfdan and I where born. But all eyes are on myself of late seeing as where in Kattegat and Bjorn always seems to be next to me or near me and his always watching me.

"Prince Bjorn has requested you in the market place, my lady." One of the salves said and I just shock my head and told her to tell him,

"Tell him sorry but I already have plans for the night and that I'll be busy for the next week and to try again next some time next week. Thank you."

Because tonight all of us girls are going to some of the parties in Kattegat and one in Hedeby because we won't be able to party while where away raiding in England but only Gyad, Gunnhild, Porunn, Snaefrid, Astrid and I are going because Margrethe's staying behind to watch over the people of Kattegat with her husband Prince Ubbe Ragnarsson. And Ingrid is just not a shield maiden so she never goes raiding anyways.

"Girl are you ready yet?" Gyad said walking into my room with the girls following behind her,

"Yer, let's go and get hammered and don't tell my brother or he'll kill me." I saw Gyad nod her head saying

"Same goes for my brothers because Torvi only has one well I have five so it's five times worse for me so no talking about girls night." After we where all in agreement we left out the window and down to the party place in Kattegat which is just in the woods behind Kattegat.

"Gunnhild why are you so happy today... did you met someone?" Snaefrid asked her while we where walking to the party with every step we took the more relief I felt because when we party I'm just Torvi a party girl not a princess.

"You could say that I've just got a little crush on... wait Gyad promise you won't hate me?" She asked and right then and there I knew that she had a thing for Gyad's older brother Bjorn Ironside. But Gyad nodded her head then Gunnhild finished what she was talking about,

"It's um Bjorn." I saw all of the colour drain from Ingrid, Snaefrid and Porunn's faces but Astrid just laughed before saying,

"His good in the bed and his fin-" but she got cut off by Gyad putting a hand over her mouth,

"You can all talk about my brothers and how hot they are just please nothing about there sex lifes Astrid be more like Margrethe when it comes to talking about her and Ubbe, which means say whatever you want when I don't have to heard it. And Gunnhild good for you but if it ends bad don't ask me to choose or you will not like the choice I make."

I knew that as much as Gyad may love us she loves Bjorn more, I know that I should probably tell the girls that Bjorn's always flirting with me but I'm not having the hate of half my friends because of a man, so I say nothing. Once we reached the party the first thing I did was find a drink because if I'm going to be getting through tonight with all the drama then I'm gonna need a lot to drink and that's just what Astrid and I do when where at theses things anyway so why change now.

A few hours later

"Time to go lady's because you'll all need to sleep this one off especially the two of you." Gyad said or something like that to be honest I can't think straight the only thing I do know is that I'm one drink away from Valhalla.

"I love you, wait your warm come back here," I said to who ever was putting me in a bed and I know that it's not the spare bed that is at Kattegat because it smells different but good different.

"Fine but nothing else is going to happen Torvi." The person told me before getting into bed and wrapping his arms around me.

"Wow you have big arms they've strong." I told the man who I don't know who it is but his got trees for arms.

"Thanks" he said and I moved around in his arms trying to get comfortable and soon I was out like a log.

The morning after

I woke up in a room that wasn't mine and arms wrapped around me that weren't mine but for some reason I knew I was safe so I went back to sleep.

"Torvi, Torvi it's time to get up now if you don't people will think that your in love with me and you wouldn't want that would you." Someone told me but I just rolled into his chest because this is the best sleep I've had in months.

"But I don't care what people say just stay in bed because I'm comfy just here and I know you are to, Ironside." I told him because after opening my eyes for the second time I knew where I was, I was in Prince Bjorn Ironside's room.

"I am but I thought that your friends would hate that seeing as you have lose lips when you drink, what did you stay again? Oh that's right, 'Bjorn most of my friends are in love with you there's Porunn, Gunnhild, Ingrid and Snaefrid's. But Astrid is always messing with them by saying how good you are with your fingers it's so much fun to watch.' Does that sound familiar to you?" I just sighed into his chest then said,

"You didn't hear it from me okay and if your going to date one then please date any of them but Porunn because her heads already big enough as it is." But he said something that I never thought I would hear from Bjorn's mouth,

"I'm in love with someone but they don't know it and I'm not sure how they feel about me. What should I do Torvi?" He asked and I was just in shock because Bjorn's always been the one night stand type of guy but being in love that's a big deal.

"Just tell her the worst thing she could say is that she only sees you as a friend." I told him before he started to look out the window and down on to Kattegat starting to wake up under us.
